I don't know who is getting paid to send out these political ads via text message, but on behalf of the entire country, fuck you.

From Sen. Chris Murphy’s staff: “Yesterday afternoon, Senator Murphy started experiencing numbness in his arm while at his son’s hockey game. He was taken to a local hospital, where it was discovered he had experienced a stroke. He was transferred to Johns Hopkins for further monitoring and is responding well to treatment. The doctors are encouraged by his progress, he is awake and alert, and we are optimistic he will make a full recovery.”
I will never donate another penny to any political party for the rest of my life. Fuck off. Fuck all the way off.

Before I visited Pennsylvania, everyone warned me that Philadelphia people are the toughest, most impatient people in America.
I believed them until I walked toward the front door of a Wawa gas station.
I was still forty feet away in the parking lot, walking between rows of cars.
A massive construction worker in steel-toe boots, carrying a twenty-four-ounce coffee in one hand and a paper-wrapped hoagie in the other, pushed open the glass door to leave. Then he saw me.
He stopped. He planted his boot against the bottom of the door. And he waited.
Forty feet is a very long distance when a grown man is holding a door for you in the wind.
In Japan, to make a stranger wait carries great shame. So I broke into that awkward half-jog every man performs when he wishes to show gratitude without looking like he is fleeing a crime.
"Go ahead, boss," he said as I passed.
Ten minutes later, as I walked out with my own sandwich, I saw an elderly woman locking her car thirty feet away.
I planted my foot against the glass. I held the door.
Another man behind me held the inner door. Within seconds we had formed an impromptu honor guard of grumpy men holding glass doors in complete silence.
Philadelphia may boo Santa Claus.
But inside the three-foot radius of a Wawa doorway, they have the manners of the imperial court.

Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

Maybe this is crazy. But a woman who built herself up from being a homeless child to an accomplished physician, seems preferable to a man born into the privileges of private education and frequent international family vacations but never learned decency.

Amy Acton overcame one parent who raped her at age 9 and one abusive parent who ignored the rape and other abuse. Amy Acton overcame being removed from her home by the state when she was 12. She made National Honor Society. She paid her way through college. She became a doctor, and the head of Ohio's Dept. of Health. Now, Amy Acton is overcoming the latter abusive parent AGAIN. In short, Amy Acton is tough as nails.
Vivek Ramaswamy is a pathetic human being who knows that he doesn't measure up.

What Vivek Ramaswamy has done is absolutely beyond despicable and evil. It is the most vile thing I have ever seen in politics. Using Amy Acton's birth mother who stayed married to Amy's rapist and was so abusive she lost custody of her kids, for political gain is despicable.
If someone find him dead, I’d vote not guilty at their trial. This man should have been executed. He will rape again.
86 FELONY CONVICTIONS. THREE WOMEN DRUGGED AND RAPED. AND NOW HE’S FREE.
Andrew Luster, the Max Factor heir who drugged and raped unconscious women and videotaped his crimes, was originally sentenced to 124 years in prison. His sentence was later reduced to 50 years.
Now he’s walking free after serving less than half of that sentence.
How did this happen?
Because California classified his crimes as “nonviolent” felonies, allowing him to benefit from expanded prison credits under Proposition 57.
Luster was released based on California’s sentence-credit laws.
After years of failed legislative efforts, California finally changed the law in 2024 to recognize certain drug-facilitated rapes as violent felonies.
But the law came too late for Luster’s victims. It did nothing to change his convictions or prevent his release.
Think about that. A serial rapist convicted of 86 felonies is free, despite a 50-year sentence and repeated opposition to his release.
Tell his victims that justice was served.
California’s laws should recognize the devastating violence inflicted on sexual assault victims—not create opportunities for their attackers to leave prison years before their court-imposed sentences expire.

🚨 Andrew Luster, the Max Factor heir, was convicted of 86 felonies, including drugging women and SA. California just let him walk.
▪️ Prosecutors say he trolled college bars from 1996 to 2000 and drugged young women with GHB until they were comatose.
▪️ They say he recorded two of the attacks.
▪️ He jumped his $1M bail mid-trial and fled to Mexico. Dog the Bounty Hunter dragged him back.
▪️ He was sentenced to 124 years. A judge cut it to 50 in 2013.
▪️ Thanks to Prop 57 and "good conduct" credits, he walked out Oct. 11 after about 20 years.
▪️ The parole board denied him 2x. He got out anyway.
▪️ He's 62 and lives in Glendora, CA. The mayor says the city is "outraged."
Prosecutors call him "one of the most dangerous rapists" they've ever prosecuted.
Voters were promised sex offenders would be "absolutely ineligible" for release under Prop 57.
Promise broken.
Violent predators should serve every single day.

PHILADELPHIA POLICE RELEASE OFFICIAL DETAILS OF DEADLY SHOOTING THAT KILLED OFFICER SHANE SEIBER; SUSPECT IDENTIFIED
The Philadelphia Police Department has released an official statement detailing the events surrounding the fatal shooting of Officer Shane Seiber and the wounding of his partner in West Philadelphia early Saturday morning.
According to police, the incident began at approximately 12:17 a.m. on October 10, 2026, when two officers assigned to the 19th District responded to a report of a person with a gun at 140 North 52nd Street.
While investigating, the officers encountered a man on the porch of the property. Police say a struggle ensued, during which both officers were shot.
Responding officers arrived to find both officers unresponsive on the porch. Fellow officers immediately transported them to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Tragically, Officer Shane Seiber, 40, was pronounced dead at 9:04 a.m. as a result of his injuries.
Seiber joined the Philadelphia Police Department in September 2016 and had served in the 19th District since January 2018. He leaves behind his wife and two young children.
His partner, a 33-year-old officer, has served with the department for nine years and has been assigned to the 19th District since December 2018. He was shot 12 times and was last reported in stable condition.
Police confirmed that additional gunfire occurred following the initial encounter, prompting authorities to declare a barricade situation.
SWAT personnel responded and ultimately took Eric Lewis, 35, into custody.
Lewis was transported to a hospital for evaluation before being taken to the Homicide Unit for further investigation.
Authorities say Lewis faces charges of murder, attempted murder, and numerous related offenses.
The Philadelphia Police Department confirmed that its Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Officer Seiber dedicated a decade of his life to serving and protecting the people of Philadelphia. His death leaves behind a grieving family, fellow officers, and an entire community mourning his loss.
Our thoughts remain with Officer Seiber’s family and his wounded partner as he continues his recovery.
The information released by police is preliminary and subject to change as the investigation continues. Lewis is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
