I woke at 6:50am GMT to join NSPPD which normally starts at 7:00am WAT, only to find out that #NSPPD has been going on for almost one hour. I'm yet to adjust to the clock switch from BST to GMT. 😭😭😭
The kids are on half-term break this week, and by our own family default arrangement, both me and my wife are always on annual leave from work during the kids' half-term break from school so we can be able to use that one week break to rest ourselves and also bond as a family. Due to the half-term break, there was no reason for me and wifey to wake up early since we won't be going to work.
I'm yet to normalise the new clock zone. 7am in the UK is now 8am in Nigeria. Despite all the announcements that pastor Jerry has been making about the clock switch, I still missed the timing this morning. I promise myself that this won't repeat itself again from tomorrow henceforth. I'll watch a playback after today's testimonies session sha.
Good morning my fellow nsppd family. – at South East, England

People think saying the reality means you are supporting him. Tinubu still have edge above every candidates right now if we won't lie for real. APC have more 30 governors plus right now in all states, that should tell us something.

We aren’t angry enough … this same government is telling the masses to endure but splashing millions on car gifts for youth leaders and still have the effrontery to boast and post about it on this obasanjos internet …. Nigerians aren’t angry enough
Pastor Nath just listed all the African countries alphabetically. He must be reading the names from a teleprompter.
If not for the self-centeredness of an average Nigerian politician, this episode of the displaying of brand new prado jeeps by the APC national youth leader should be enough to cost APC the forthcoming election especially at the presidency level. An average common person could barely feed due to the high cost of living and high inflation rate which has made naira to lose a lot of value. Yet, the people in government are so tone-deaf that they can be carelessly brandishing ostentatious wealth to the faces of the impoverished masses.
Unfortunately, a house that is divided against itself cannot stand. There are about 18 or 19 presidential candidates who are all jostling for the number one seat in the country. How can 17 or 18 people all think that they have what it takes to defeat Tinubu? Against all odds thrown at him by Buhari and the establishment within the APC, Tinubu managed to win in 2023 against all odds. This same Tinubu is most likely still going to win the presidential election again. It'll be hard for him to lose an election in which he was the one who appointed the umpire. Moreso, the opposition is too weak to stage a meaningful fight against the incumbent's might.
My best friends are still those that we have known one another since our school days, especially from my secondary school and undergraduate days. We may not always be talking consistently all the time but anytime we get to talk, we simply continue from where we left it off. No guilt-tripping, no emotional blackmailing or whatsoever.
One of my friends called me from the US yesterday and we spoke for about an hour or so. When I got off the phone, my wife was asking me who he was, and I said he was my buddy from secondary school. That is how we all just randomly stay in touch with one another in order to keep the flame of friendship and brotherhood alive.

As I am currently watching the el-classico, I was just wondering what either of Real Madrid or Barcelona would do to Manchester United if they should play against us. They would beat us like ejò àijẹ.
Just look at the sweet fluid football being played by these two better organised clubs. Manchester United really fell off very badly.
When I was telling my wife that I would be travelling to Nigeria next summer for my cousin's wedding and I won't spend more than four days in Nigeria when I travel for the wedding, she was wondering if that was a smart financial decision and why is it very necessary for me to go for the wedding. I told her that my cousin has already bought his flight ticket to travel to Nigeria with me for my dad's funeral immediately after a decision was made about the funeral date. My cousin said "ẹ̀gbọ́n, daddy was father to all of us, and we can't leave you all alone to it".
One good turn deserves another. It's just normal that I also travel to Nigeria to support him for his wedding too. That is how family is meant to be.
When the national youth leader of APC could come out publicly to say that he donated brand new 2026 prado jeep to the APC youth leaders in all the 36 states to facilitate their easy movement, then you should know that Nigeria is finished.
As in, ó parí.
From today henceforth, I choose to stop watching Manchester United games until Michael Carrick is sacked. Now, it's eight straight games in a row without a win. Gosh! 🤦😭. Get that loser out of my club. He is clueless and has lost control over his dressing room.
