I hate the fact that when we send an official letter to government babus , they don't even bother to acknowledge it, forget about replying to it !
Are they allowed to ignore letters ? @grok
What are the rules

Hello @Airtel_Presence I've been without broadband for 6 days after shifting apartments within the same building. Airtel black account and airtel customer since 1996.
I placed a simple request for broadband shifting within the same building, on Nov 02. I got a time slot for 9 am Sat, Nov 7 (today).
I then tried multiple times to call and request if it could be done earlier. Over 20 calls have been attempted to or by technicians with calls not connecting, and I keep getting messages saying uour phone was not reachable.
I spoke to 121 twice yesterday and was told it would likely be done yesterday and I would get an SMS with the details immly. That did not happen.
The 9 am time slot today 7 Nov, six days after request, is now over. I spoke to 121 again now. They're saying the same thing as every time: "apologies for inconvenience, pls wait till 8:30 pm for your issue to be resolved".
Pls escalate and resolve.

Different Stroke For Different Folks
🤣🤣🤣
Multiple Forms, Multiple Norms
Ho ho ho.. ha ha ha..
Aadhaar will no longer be the basis for welfare payments.
Biometric authentication + Voter ID (EPIC) will replace it for DBT.
Some facts:
Aadhaar is the world's largest biometric ID system.
Modi govt made us link it to our PAN, bank a/c, ration, LPG, PM-KISAN, 300+ welfare schemes.
It was called a masterstroke.
Around ₹15,000 Cr were spent building this ecosystem over the years.
Govt claimed Adhaar-linked DBT had saved ₹5.14 lakh Cr by eliminating fake and duplicate beneficiaries.
Now, the same Aadhaar system is being junked because “anyone can make Aadhaar these days.”
And btw, this is also Modi’s masterstroke!

When I point out corruption in India, I’m highlighting a systemic problem, not justifying it. Yet people respond with, “Did you do this or that?”
That’s deflection, not debate. You know corruption exists, perhaps even participate in it, but attack the messenger to silence him.
That’s intellectual dishonesty, not critical thinking.

Urgent Update
Extremely significant ECI communication following SC’s direction in Delhi SIR case
On October 28, 2026 in the Delhi SIR matter, the SC had observed that making deleted voters on ASDD list fill Form 6 was an ERROR. SC had said that such voters should be allowed to fill enumeration form/ Form 8 if they are marked as permanently shifted or as absent/ untraceable.
Today, the ECI has issued communication dated November 6, 2026 addressed to CEOs of Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana and Nagaland on facilitating inclusion of left out voters. The communication states:
- Voters who are on ASDD list as they had shifted residence, can fill enumeration form along with a statement with details of their new address. In case of homeless persons, field verification by BLO will suffice.
- Voters who could not submit their enumeration form within the deadline and are on ASDD list can submit their enumeration form now along with a statement on why they were unable to do so earlier.
- All those on ASDD list who will now fill enumeration form along with the applicable statement will be re-assigned their old EPIC number. All such cases will be parked for inclusion in final voter list following due verification.
- Wide publicity must be given to all these initiatives, including through media, social media, announcements, reaching out through WhatsApp etc. and facilitation and assistance to be provided to voters.
We welcome this communication issued by the ECI. We believe this is an important step in addressing large scale exclusions caused during SIR. The provision to re-assign the old EPIC numbers is important as it will ensure preservation of voter’s historical record of being an existing voter. Just in Delhi, out of 47.56 lakh deleted in the first phase and put on ASDD, 31.59 lakh were marked as permanently shifted and 11.73 as absent/untraceable. The SC had observed that asking such people to fill Form 6 with its declaration of being a first time voter was an error.
We urge the CEO of Delhi and all other states to take immediate steps to operationalise these critical directions.

Many years ago, I visited the Commissioner of Income Tax’s home. He served the finest alcohol, including Cristal Champagne, Grey Goose Vodka, and Blue Label Whiskey, and boasted of procuring 20,000 acres of land in Australia. How is such blatant corruption tolerated in India? Do these people have no self-respect or conscience?

A gentleman on LinkedIn asked why SB seems so excited about India’s decline after watching The Friendship Files. He’s got the narrative completely wrong. I’m not excited. I’m deeply disappointed by the moral decline that has allowed crony capitalism to be normalized and justified. I want India to succeed, not decline.
