ironic that both ai labs embody the inverse of their names: openai wants nothing more than a monopoly and anthropic is anti-human

you can just ask claude or astra to do this btw you can even ask it for specific types of cuisine, shopping lists, nutritional preferences or targets, to plan for once or twice weekly bulk cooking to reduce nightly work
Please come up with 365 meals, not using the same one more than once a month with pork, beef, and chicken. Also take into account how many people youre feeding and their different diets and preferences.

now watching dead snow, a very funny movie in which a bunch of swedish mid-30 year olds act like teenagers

kinda funny how much the zack snyder dawn of the dead worships cops

return of the living dead is a very funny movie one highlight is a girl so turned on by death that simply being in a graveyard drives her to strip, and then one of her friends going “oh is X naked again?”

tweets that read like a psyop cooked up by someone trying to foment anti-multiculturalism
my unpopular opinion is that everybody should be looking up definitions of their baby’s potential names in different languages. you can’t seriously name your child laura not knowing what it means in the world’s 3rd most spoken language

great movie btw, a fave
In Frankenhooker (1990), Patty Mullen hid beneath a bulky fat suit as the plain fiancée. But once Jeffrey resurrects her using the "finest" street pieces, the padding vanishes—unleashing a mind-blowing bombshell stitched together from sheer perfection.

It really is an extraordinary amount of clear cutting btw. For reference here's the google plot (and a nearby substation) and a pit mine near me, at the same scale
Replying to @ollyrobot
google got approval for something with the environmental and aesthetic impact of an industrial estate and then proceeded to have the environmental and aesthetic impact of a (massive) open pit mine, basically

I've stood on the edge of the pit mine, it feels inhuman in scale. I can only imagine the google plot

my uninformed theory about the google clear cutting vast swathes of finnish forest thing is that google imported american construction expertise and their site approach defaults to clear cutting, an ~unusual practice in finland, where buildings are usually nestled between trees

im probably mostly wrong tho

eh i asked one of the robots and i’m half right i guess part of the scandal is about timelines more than the nature of the clearing, but also it seems like the foreign site approach led them to not retain reserved areas of forest that a local crew would have (or something)

because they don’t want to marry a man they’d have to ask
why are women so terrified of asking a man to marry her
