Thanks to @RockefellerFdn, @ELMAPhilanthro, & @JapanEmb_Uganda, @UNICEF continues to support @MinofHealthUG to design & rollout the electronic Community Health Information System (#eCHIS), a key strategy of the Health Information and Digital Health Strategic Plan (2021-2025).
OpenSRP 2 is live in Uganda! Thousands of VHTs (community health workers) are using mobile phones for health service delivery.
#eCHIS empowers community health workers in capturing, reporting, analyzing, & using data to deliver quality service to the populations they serve.
The data will also be used to manage patient care, plan, manage, & monitor service delivery, & aid resource accountability.
