Amid the chaos at Bondi Beach, a brave bystander tackled one of the armed suspects and ripped the shotgun from his hands before he could fire again.
The dramatic moment may have prevented further injuries as beachgoers ran for their lives.

🚨🇦🇺BONDI BEACH SHOOTING DURING HANUKKAH - WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR
A shooting erupted at Sydney’s Bondi Beach around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, during Hanukkah celebrations.
Two men opened fire near Bondi Pavilion, causing chaos as beachgoers fled the scene. At least 10 people have been injured, according to New South Wales Ambulance.
Police arrested both suspects at the scene, with spent cartridges seen scattered around them as they were cuffed.
No deaths have been confirmed so far, and the motive behind the attack remains unknown.
New South Wales Police say the operation is still ongoing and continue to urge the public to stay away and follow all directions.

This morning I ordered precision Military air strikes on the Senior ISIS Attack Planner and other terrorists he recruited and led in Somalia. These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our Allies. The strikes destroyed the caves they live in, and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians. Our Military has targeted this ISIS Attack Planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!
