The University Power Plant was a small steam plant in the back of Hill and was expanded in 1922. It provided heat and light for all of the Ohio Northern campus. Around 1953, the plant was taken out of service and was dedicated as an engineering facility. #ONUat150 @ohionorthern

Did you know?: In Founder’s complex where many freshmen live, Park, Founders, and Maglott halls were separated and only connected by one hallway! ONU later added two floors with dorm rooms to connect the buildings in 2009! #ONUat150 @ohionorthern @onualumni
ONU celebrates alumnus Bill McCarthy, BS in Pharmacy '53, who was recently inducted into the Central Ohio Senior Citizen Hall of Fame. Congratulations Bill for a lifetime of serving your community.
Mary Beth Donahoe, a BFA '14, came back to ONU for a visit before heading out on the first national tour of the Mean Girls musical. Mary Beth gave a symposium and led a dance class for our musical theater and theater students in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
Attendees of the ONU Sweethearts Breakfast at 2021 Homecoming enjoyed this fun, ONU themed craft, great food, and a meaningful time reconnecting with fellow alumni. We love to celebrate the many couples and families that got their start here at ONU!

NASA engineer Courtney M. (Hetrick) Schkurko, BSEE ’13 and Kevin J. Saghy, BA ’07, a social media specialist, have been selected to receive ONU’s 2021 William L. Robinson Young Alumni awards during homecoming weekend at the Oct. 2 Homecoming football game this coming weekend.
Attend Homecoming 2021, Oct. 1-3. Registration open through this Friday, Sept. 24. From a fantastic parade to a documentary film debut to football feats, ONU will celebrate with memorable activities in our “Loyal Forever” sesquicentennial year.

The new ONU Historical Documentary is premiering at the 2021 Homecoming, Sat., Oct. 2nd. Entry is free and will take place at the Ada Theater on Main Street in Ada, Ohio. The premiere begins at 11:15 and a second showing begins at 4pm. See you there!
