I think a lot of it can be ppl with insecurities and ego problems that are prone to being oversensitive sometimes. Because even active listening like "yeah" or "uh-huh" nodding along will offend this type of person. It's not really about having a conversation but controlling it.

this is just unacceptable.. whoever set the precedent for 2 and 3 year gaps between seasons of a show should be publicly flogged.. the production for s2 should’ve started right as season 1 was airing.. and 225 days is just vile.. literally what.
she also texted her boyfriend 10 mins before she crashed that she had turbulence... so clearly he wasn't the pilot in this situation.

Nobody said his wife was not with him, you all are just jumping to conclusions. She could be inside the store. and wheelchair use is not the only disability that those placards are for. People have invisible disabilities and are allowed to use the spot if they have a placard.

Our neighborhood has a Halloween golf cart parade. Someone decorated their cart as the HOA and threw out these LOL
My favorite Halloween story: one year my friend David dressed as Laura Palmer (wrapped in plastic, dead leaves etc), and no one recognized the costume until we passed a drag queen who pointed at her giant fake boobs and yelled "Hey Laura, get a load of these twin peaks!"

perhaps she wanted to shoplift and already had stuff in her bag. people at my job will always bring other stuff to the line and then say they don't want it or need to get their wallet and leave but they still have other stuff they already took. esp if they think you're onto them.

this is how I feel about a lot of the furniture restoration videos I have been seeing where they butcher antiques

Dude who caused the DRAM shortage is now scolding people for hoarding memory inside their own laptops instead of giving it all to him.
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

I hope his fanboys will see that he hates them as much as he hates the rest of humanity and the planet.

for anyone upset about the paint, it's a lime wash and meant to fade over time it's not sealing anything and will eventually have rustic look. not that I necessarily think it's an upgrade, especially with no trim or shutters, and the porch is incongruent with the rest.
Oh absolutely, but both things are true at once. Ethan did not have to choose to participate but did, and these are the consequences.
