Wetherspoons are an incredible business, we are very lucky to have them:
1) Real ale quality and value (choice not always as good as it was due to too much Greene King)
2) Building preservation - some stunning conversions
3) Great place to work during the day - coffee refills
4) Professional staff and nationwide consistency of the offer
5) Valuable social service particularly for elderly men due to accessible pricing
The food is more value than quality. The kind of people that move in social circles where the high status opinion is to be scathing of Wetherspoons think I’m joking about 5) but its true.
