What "native" means: instead of building the app as a web page and wrapping it in a browser, we wrote it as a normal program that draws its own interface. Logitech G HUB, SteelSeries GG and Razer Synapse are all Electron apps, which bundle a whole copy of Chromium inside each one. That's a big part of why they're so heavy. OpenMouse Desktop is written in Rust and draws its interface directly on your GPU. No browser inside. TLDR: many mouse apps are built as web pages that run inside their own browser window. OpenMouse is built as a regular program instead, so it doesn't need one.
