Everyone’s generating videos with Claude Opus 5.5.
We tried GPT 6.1 Sol for the first shot, and the results are unbelievable.
Unbelievably bad. Going back to Opus.
Update to v0.9.3 to:
- Run self-hosted AI apps
- Deploy NVIDIA GPU services
- Use Cloudflare Tunnel
- Customize your app theme and fonts
- Link monitoring to notification channels so you always know what’s happening.
And more...

My hosting bill is €14 a month. Here's the whole setup.
I moved all my side projects off Vercel and onto two @Hetzner_Online servers. The bill is about €14.38 a month.
1. A 4-core x86 box in Helsinki runs production: SaaS, its Postgres and the deploy control plane.
2. A 2-core arm64 box in Falkenstein runs the small sites
@openshipio on the first box deploys to both. When I push to GitHub, a runner on the box builds and ships it. I don't touch a dashboard.
Only ports 80 and 443 are public, and on the small box only @Cloudflare can reach them. SSH, dashboards and databases sit behind Tailscale.
AI agents run most of it. One repo documents every server, port, cron job and change. The agent reads it, makes the change and writes down what it did.
Hosting has been cheap for years. The real cost was always ops. Agents just made that cheap too.
OpenShip Cloud now offers Resource Pools, so you can run managed builds, deployments, and Actions starting at just $5.
Migrate directly from your server provider without starting over, All your work continues right where you left off.
All plans include dedicated support.
Introducing OpenShip Actions
Your self-hosted Actions runner, directly on your infrastructure, without relying on GitHub Actions uptime.
- Same syntax and flow as GitHub Actions.
- Use it as a backup and run your CI manually when GitHub Actions is down (as usual).
- Connected to GitHub Checks: see results directly on GitHub while execution stays on your server.
- Build your own CI/CD workflows and pipelines outside GitHub.
Available now in v0.9.1.
OpenShip Edge is very powerful for self-hosting.
Imagine controlling your Nginx / Traefik / Caddy rules through a UI instead of manually editing config files.
Manage HTTP rules dynamically from your OpenShip Project dashboard. SEO, routing, redirects, headers, and more - fully customizable and under your control.
If you're using OpenShip Desktop and want to add team members or enable automations like auto-deploys and CI/CD, you can now move your control plane to a remote server in v0.9.1.
Your desktop becomes a lightweight UI for managing your remote server, unlocking team collaboration and automation features without exposing your OpenShip UI to the internet.
