A little over 5 years ago I had a vision. A vision that professional hand rolling in Minnesota would be a thing and that I would be the one to shape that. And not just a small thing that only produces side income on the black market or with local growers privately, but something that could provide abundance for my family and myself and opportunities for people looking to get their foot in the legal industry and be part of a winning team. I am happy to announce that the amazing team I am a part of is able to legally manufacture cannabis products on METRC. Aka. We can legally do hand rolls 😎🤌🏽 It hasn’t been easy. In fact, it’s been one of the most difficult endeavors I’ve chosen to pursue and manifest into reality. There have been many ups and downs. Many days and months and eventually years of inconsistency. Lots of late fees and overdue bills. Lots of uncomfortable conversations with people I call friend and family about why I need to borrow a few bucks to get gas or food or anything make ends meet. And shit, I’d be lying if I said that things aren’t still like that right now despite me writing this post. Despite all of that, the beautiful things and experiences and people I’ve met along the way have made it all worth it. Today, I met with a potential business partner that really opened up my eyes and made it clear to me that I was right all those years ago to start this journey toward creating my own lane here within the Minnesota cannabis scene doing professional hand rolls. Despite the people laughing at me and telling me that it was crazy and that nobody would ever pay the prices I was asking to turn their product into smokable art, I pushed forward and continued setting standards for professional hand rolls. From that, a small group of people who understood the craft side of what I did, decided to take up their own rolling side projects with their friends and family and start honing in and sharpening their own craft and I told them many years ago that we would eventually get to a point where the orders would be so large that I would not be able fulfill them on my own and that we would eventually need to form a team of rollers who can crush giant orders. I told them to keep practicing cuz I would need them one day. This is why I have always been an open book with my rolling technique and the live rolling and always giving free game for the craft. Tips and tricks I’m now learning are worth 10s of thousands of dollars to these big businesses. If I held back on that, I’d have nobody to select from when it came time to form a team to fulfill 20-30-40 pound orders that needed to be consistent with smokeability as well as aesthetic. Fast forward to now, the team is looking at potential life changing orders and this was only the first client… I give all Glory To God and Jesus Christ 🙌🏽❤️ Without God showing the path and Jesus being my armor, I would not have made it this far. Without the friends and family and business partners I’ve worked with that have done so much for me that I still have to repay for going out on a limb and helping a kid from the east side of Saint Paul chase after his dreams to start something that could create wealth for himself and those around him who were willing to sacrifice and put in the work to create this life changing lane within a brand new legal market… I would not be here without them. And for that I am so grateful. I have so much excitement for how much I’ll be able to give back and help those who have helped me do something I truly enjoy and turn into a legitimate career path.
