What I’d love to know is how much the other top European leagues have been affected by Man City
In the 2010s every top league PL aside became historically uncompetitive
But the other superclubs like Bayern probably spend less if City & PSG weren’t around to raise the bar
I knew about 2001 and 2007, but I don't think I knew how close Schalke were to winning the title in 2010. Led the table with six games left then lost at home to a 10-man Bayern. Level on goal difference with two games left, but they lost and then drew their last two games.
