Lately being in Web3 has been hard.
I’ve sat on this post for about an hour as I don’t want it to sound like FUD, or poor me, but just an honest reflection.
In Web3 I love the communities, the art, the tech, but have been struggling with the fun side of it lately.
It feels like I’m forever holding my phone thinking I don’t want to miss an opportunity. But when opportunities pop up I realise they are out of my reach. Whether through funds (main one), time zones, not being in the know, or any other number of reasons.
Web3 has been a way for me to have a break from my irl. My life is good, I have an amazing family filled with love and laughs, we aren’t rich but have the simple necessities of life. I have a job I enjoy, but we also care for a family member and that takes a toll on my mental health and Web3 has been my escape. But lately Web3 has felt like an added drain of my energy.
There is always another project I’d love to hold, or if I hold, it always feels like what I have isn’t enough. It just feels like I’m constantly chasing a dream that keeps moving out of reach.
I’m not going anywhere (I think), and not even sure I really want to post this, but also want to be real as I’m sure plenty of others feel the same way.
If you are reading this, take time for yourself. Don’t chase everything because that will ultimately make you unhappy. Surround yourself with good people and enjoy the little moments.

nfts represent true decentralized digital ownership. and the world is getting more digital, not less.
innovations continue to emerge from nft technology - like RWAs - which can bridge the gap between digital and physical. and we haven’t even started to scratch the surface of what they can mean for dozens of other industries.
the way people use nfts will continue to change. their purpose will evolve. for years they were largely used as instruments for people to gamble. we might not see another year like 2021 and that’s ok! focus can shift now to driving value vs just speculation.
nfts are important building blocks for a future where people take ownership over their digital assets and identity. where culture trades and creators reap the benefits from their own success.
and they’re an essential part of an integrated strategy at opensea - one place where you can own and trade everything onchain.

Really sorry for the hack last night that was done on my X account. It was a crazy night but now completely fixed and secured. PLEASE REMEMBER I will never ask you for money, or shill a token, or ask you to invest or send me anything ever. I never will tell you to buy something (even my own project) nor do I need anything from anyone on here except their friendship. In regards to the overwhelming and unexpected response to my post yesterday I will need a few more days to go thru all the amazing NFT projects that were submitted. I'm blown away by the actual depth of the space that I never realized until this morning seeing the massive engagement on that simple post. I have now decided to pick 3 projects instead of 1 and am excited to purchase a 1/1 grail from each (also post it to give the collection some deserved new exposure) and spend $5000 (approx 2.5ETH) on the individual projects to purchase some floors and give them for free to people that might be in a tight spot financially but really want to be part of 1 of the 3 collections 🙏🙏🙏
