ONE DAY TO PUBLICATION! What a wonderful and thrilling journey it has been and now it's almost time to let THE FISHERMAN'S GIFT find its way in the world!🌊🌊🌊
"If something is still alive, especially when you thought the hard winter had killed it, then you must keep it alive, allow it to live, give it a chance."
One day to go until THE FISHERMAN'S GIFT by @juliarkelly2 is out in the world.🌊
Nick Drake : 19th June 1948 - 25th November 1974
Remembered for a While
One of Tony Evans' remarkable portraits, February 1971
Take a look at this. A beautiful Siren of a cover that will lure in many a passing sailor/reader! All to be rewarded with the riches of the story within. Something to look forward to in March 2025. @juliarkelly2 #TheFishermansGift

We teamed up with our friends at @scottishbktrust to compile this list of 20 books, all set in Edinburgh to celebrate our 20th anniversary as a UNESCO City of Literature, one for every year!
What are your favourite books set in the capital?📚

Another of my formative influences gone. Fond memories of Tony Soper's programmes - wise, fun, conveyed in that distinctive voice with infectitious enthusiasm and a gentle authority. Also set a high bar in craggy jumper/waterproof coat fashion, the clothing of heroes.
It was one of the greatest privileges and pleasures of my life to work with, and later get to know as a friend, the wildlife TV presenter Tony Soper, a true pioneer who entertained millions. Here is my @guardianobits tribute to this fine man. theguardian.com/environment/…
