Omg thank you so much @aspenshredder!
I love it!!
I don’t know the cancer results from my surgery yet, but I’m kind of enjoying this state of not knowing.
Before more appointments and treatments decisions and possible disappointments or extreme relief I am grateful to just be present in the moment.
I am sooo excited and very very grateful for @irishnftgal sharing her gift of painting and creating me this awesome artwork 🦜. It’s so thoughtful!
Can’t wait to hang it on my wall! Thank you so much 🙏
Painting on the way to you @outerlumen
Portuguese sailors used to keep Parrots as seafaring companions as they provide distraction being something to banter with.
Having a Parrot as a pet is fun, which in itself is a message of celebration.
I hope this brings you joy 💜

well fuck ... the hospital had a surgery cancellation tomorrow so I took it ... see you on the flip side 😳🤞🫶
Sorry I haven't posted in several weeks. Shit got busy with scans and surgeon appointments and I am still healing from chemo summer. I have been trying to hike as much as possible to get my stamina and energy back up. Hoping to climb again soon.
According to the MRI and PET scans, things look really good. All the things that were cancerous are not visible. There is one node that lit up before and after chemo but the doctors are not sure if it's cancerous or just reactive from all the dead cancer cells around it.
The TLDR is I am waiting for surgery at the end of October to remove what were the cancerous nodes from my armpit and hoping for there to be no cancer cells microscopically.
If that happens, it's an incredible outcome for the rest of my life. If there is still cancer left, hopefully it's small enough we can radiate the fuck out of it, otherwise I will need more chemo etc.
One step at a time though. Surgery next. I don't like the idea of removing all my armpit lymph nodes because they drain my arm too not just the chest, so we agreed on removing the chest ones only (it's where the sus nodes are anyway). This gives me only a 5% chance of fucking up my arm with permanent swelling instead of like 30% chance. In this case, I would much prefer the odds of pulling a rare in a 10K collection personally. 😂
As always, I really appreciate your support here and all the DM's checking in on me. You guys are amazing!
i asked my son to do it:
this was really really hard to narrow down, like @imjameshall I went for the many hours played and having super fond memories with friends and family

I really don’t understand what all the panic is about, at some point we are all going to die anyway 🤷♀️
