payout cleared. $1,324.38 in my account.
i want to tell you what this actually is, and what it means to me.
i was bad at this for years. the guy chasing on sunday night to crawl back to breakeven from the afternoon losses (rarely made it back to breakeven)
the guy who thought he was one parlay away, and then he could start betting responsibly.
even when i started doing research instead of guessing, i had no idea what i was looking at, or what would even work (it wasn't the last 5 games, that's for sure)
i didn't get good because of a system i bought or a guy i followed. it started to click when i got honest with myself. tracked every bet. figured out what was working and what wasn't, then kept betting it until the sample was big enough to trust. flat units, +ev only, no hero bets. a parlay maybe 1 in every 100 bets.
it's not as fun as deciding "this guy's def going for 30" and sweating the game to see if you were right... but it works, and the numbers back it up.
this was never about proving i know ball. most people would rather be right and feed their ego. i'd rather make money in a sport i know nothing about.
then i found @playvo_us $275 for a shot at a $10,000 bankroll if i could pass their challenge. the kind of money i always figured a parlay would hand me one day. except this time the odds were greater than 1%.
27 days. 143 bets. every one a 1% unit. never touched a max bet. paid $275 to access the bankroll. requested my payout sept 7. money in my account sept 15.
is this a career? no idea. it's one cycle on a platform i don't control, and counterparty risk is always real, whether it's your money or not. what i do know is the system made $1,887 on $10,000 in under a month. 13.2% roi on every dollar bet. so i'm running it back. and again after that, for as long as i can.
cycle 2 is live. same account, same 1%. if you want to run one alongside me, code OUTSIDER gets you 10% off.
the green is glamorous. the grind is not. but you can't have one without the other. i did all of this with nobody watching. figured it was time to start posting, continue to hold myself accountable, and maybe save someone the years it took me.
this is just the beginning ๐ซก
funded account cycle 1 is officially closed.
finished at $11,887.68, up $1,887 on the $10,000. 4 more green days after i posted this. final record was 85-51-7 across 143 bets, every single one a 1% unit. never touched a max bet.
requested my payout on sept 7. $1,324.38, my 70% of the profit, sitting in pending right now. thats 4.8x the $275 entry fee. will post certificate when it clears.
worst case, it doesnt clear... that goes up here too.
cycle 2 started two days ago on the same account. no new fee, no reset, same 1% units. first NFL slate of the season lands this week, and this account is already live. ready for action.
if you want to start yours, playvo is bogo today only. code OUTSIDER for extra 10% off
(chart is my own bet log. pending screenshot is playvo's)

Looks like heโs practicing whipping his towel off his waist #grindneverstops
legit fantasy football question, should I bench swift tomorrow
what if he gets popped on the first play, fumbles and is ruled out for the gameโฆ
im not even being hyperbolic when I say he looks like a combo of fred taylor and mojo ๐
almost blew my account, took a break, been on a heater since
two weeks ago i went 4-12 over two days and gave back most of the month. stepped away for a few days and recalibrated
came back to 7 straight green days. first red day was yesterday, 3-3, -$60
back over my 10% target with 5 days left. would you keep betting normal or go small to lock in the payout?
the comeback has been most swift and efficient
sometimes it pays to step away
promised the story on why i went dark. here it is.
quick context: i bet on a funded account. $10k that isn't mine, $275 eval fee was my only risk. hit the drawdown floor and the account is gone, and the floor rises with every new high.
two payouts in, $2,275.37 total, and this cycle started hot. new account high 5 days straight. peaked at $11,155, up over $1k in 9 days, already past my 10% monthly goal.
then i gave back almost $1k in 48 hours. not bad bets, just too many of them losing at once. still green on the cycle, and somehow one bet from losing the account.
so i stepped away. no betting, no twitter.
but funded accounts need activity, so i placed one small tennis bet to keep it alive.
it lost. $20 from breaching.
at that point any loss ends the account, $20 or the max. so if i was going out, i was going out swinging. hail mary. max bet.
by the grace of god, it hit (thank you, milwaukee bucks 2nd qtr over 26.5)
account's alive. and the worst week of my betting year cost me $0 out of pocket. on my own bankroll this story ends a lot differently.
plan now: keep it alive, lock the payout, then hammer nba next cycle and add more accounts.
the process is back on the menu boys.
