Not every important blockchain upgrade comes with a big announcement sometimes, the most interesting changes happen behind the scenes I was looking into @Starknet’s recent protocol updates and found something worth sharing A few things stood out ; → Starknet v0.14.3 replaced Pedersen with a -based construction for OS program and configuration hashes → This change is already live on mainnet → Other changes, including contract trie hashing and contract-address derivation, are still part of the roadmap !! Why does this matter ?? Because updating a blockchain is not just about adding new features The underlying systems need to evolve too I find this kind of progress interesting, because it shows that building a network also means continuously improving what’s happening under the hood There’s still work ahead, but it’s worth following the progress

Not every interesting thing about a blockchain is visible to its users sometimes, it’s what developers get behind the scenes that matters one thing worth exploring in @Starknet is Cairo, its native programming language here are a few things that caught my attention ; → Developers can use Cairo to build smart contracts specifically for Starknet → Cairo is designed around provable computation → It works with Starknet’s STARK-based proving system → It gives builders a dedicated environment to create more complex onchain applications I think developer experience is an important part of any ecosystem You can have great ideas, but developers also need the right tools to turn those ideas into working products That’s why I find Starknet’s approach to development worth following
