I just registered for @arc Meet-up Kick-off in OYO state, Nigeria.
Ogbomosho would attract lots of builders definitely, very strategic location.
Let's see if I'll be travelling down to deploy alongside fellow architects.

The Arc 101 bootcamp journey so far.
The 6 weeks learning program is coming to an end next week and itβs just right to share what Iβve learnt in the first 5 weeks.
βMy biggest takeaway so far: programmable money becomes more meaningful when we understand the infrastructure that makes it useful.β
The topics weβve covered include:
- Arcβs core primitives
- Platform architecture
- The @circle tech stack
- Wallets (all forms of wallet available on circle)
- Smart contracts
- Stablecoin payment on Arc
This bootcamp is helping me connect the technology with real-world use cases.
Not my first bootcamp by @arc but the best one yet!
Build. On. Arc π€

Since 2018, we been tracking projects by TVL. The first TVL was locked on @ethereum just $30m
Nobody thought that day that this one number would later become the scoreboard of the entire industry
Then 2021 came. In November, DeFi's TVL was around $175b. Today, on 7 November 2026, DeFi's TVL is $80.88b. That's more than half down from the peak
But the money hasn't disappeared. What has shrunk is the money sitting locked. Where there's real usage, money is still moving
@base tells the same story. It started in August 2023 with just $8m, and today its TVL is $5.76b. In under three and a half years, that's roughly 720x
We all look at this TVL and say Base is growing. But in banking language, a deposit is a liability, and in crypto we call that a milestone. If another chain offers 2% more APY, this money can move there the very next day
So for me, Base's real scoreboard is three numbers- fees, revenue, retention
In the last 30 days, Base's Chain Fees were $2.56m and App Fees were $55m. Next to a $5.76b TVL, the app layer number isn't that bad
100 users who actually pay fees are better than $50M locked, money that's just waiting for a use case
Base is still building adoption without a token. If a token and airdrop come in the future, the real test will be how many stay after the airdrop. Because retention is a metric you can't fake with subsidies
So in my view, when you look at any protocol, instead of looking at TVL first, it's most important to look at revenue and active users 30 days later
TVL tells you how much the protocol has borrowed from strangers and revenue tells you whether it actually has a business

We launched @TowerExchange on @arc mainnet on September 16, the same month we joined the Arc Accelerator Program.
So the accelerator never saw a deck version of Tower. It saw launch week and then the first two months of a live product, with real routes going through @Uniswap, @aeroxyz, @KyberNetwork and @circle StableFX and real questions coming back from people using it.
The program wraps up on soon...
Week 7 with Bharat Vishnubhotla at @circle was one of the sessions I'll keep coming back to.
We're coming out the other side building the same thing we went in with: one API for stablecoin swaps and bridging across networks, so wallets and fintechs don't have to stitch it together themselves
Find our free API and explore your build here:

Week 7 of the Arc Accelerator Program, led by Bharat Vishnubhotla at @circle, was a very insightful and engaging session on building trust in financial products.
It explored how early-stage teams can establish credibility, secure strategic partnerships, and earn user and enterprise trust when handling financial workflows, with valuable insights for teams building on @arc.

On @Starknet digital signatures authorize transactions, while STARK proofs verify computation. They perform different roles in keeping the network secure.
The unique side of Starknet is its programmable accounts.
Since accounts are smart contracts, developers can introduce new signature verification methods without requiring a network wide upgrade just to change account validation logic.
In simple terms, it's like replacing a door lock without rebuilding the entire house.
This flexibility matters as cryptographic threats evolve and new security methods become necessary.
It doesn't mean every account is already quantum-resistant, but it gives developers room to adapt.
Security should be built to evolve, not remain stuck with today's methods.

That's a simple way to understand upgradeable security on Starknet.
Like a digital signature as your key. It proves that you authorized a transaction.
STARK proofs do a different job: they help verify that computation was carried out correctly.
Now, what happens if the key system needs to change in the future?
This is where @Starknet programmable accounts gets in.
Because accounts are smart contracts, developers can introduce new signature methods by changing an account's validation logic without requiring a network-wide upgrade.
It's like replacing an old lock with a stronger one while keeping the house intact.
Why does this matter?
As cryptographic threats evolve, blockchain security needs room to adapt.
The goal isn't just to build secure systems today, but to make them easier to upgrade for tomorrow.
