Friendship is not always about how long you've known someone, but the little moments you've shared together.
Funny enough, our own friendship started at a beer parlour.🍻
We came there as complete strangers, each with our own worries and plenty of things going on in our minds. Nobody knew what the other person was passing through. We just wanted to sit down, have a bottle of beer, cool our heads, and forget life's wahala for a while.
But somehow, one bottle led to a conversation, the conversation turned into gist, and before we knew it, we were sharing things we hadn't even planned to tell anybody.
We laughed, talked about our struggles, encouraged one another, and for those few hours, life didn't feel as heavy anymore.
Today, when I look back at that moment, I just smile. Because those things that were bothering us back then? We've overcome them. And the people who sat at that table as strangers are no longer strangers. We are brothers now.
From random gist that turns into hours of laughter to unexpected hangouts where nobody wants to go home, I've learnt that the best memories aren't always planned.
Sometimes, all it takes is a bottle of beer, an open conversation, and the right people at the right time.
Who would have thought that a simple evening at a beer parlour would give us something money cannot buy? Brotherhood.
80 years of Nigerian Breweries, and still part of the little moments that bring people together.
Here's to the strangers who became friends, the friends who became brothers, and the memories that will stay long after the bottles are empty.
Because the beer may finish, but the brotherhood remains.
