Judge Komitee, worth over $100 million and a former prosecutor in the same district as the team targeting @carloswatson and @ozy, had glaring conflicts of interest. Far from being impartial, he acted like a member of the prosecution’s "committee," blocking key evidence and bolstering their arguments at every turn.

🚨 OUTRAGEOUS: Embattled day trading Judge Eric Komitee in the @carloswatson/ @ozy case has crossed every line. Conflicts already include Komitee’s multimillion-dollar stakes in @GoldmanSachs, @Google & other trial players. Now we learn the improperly sealed Rule 12.4 “List of Interested Parties” includes 200+ additional names—likely exposing conflicts even WORSE than what’s already public. The 2nd Circuit must force transparency, and @SenatorDurbin & @ChuckGrassley must investigate this Komitee scandal. And @POTUS should pardon @carloswatson. Egregious behavior by the Trump appointed judge.

It’s enraging to know that @carloswatson of @ozy is facing 37 years in prison, given the presiding judge’s conflicts of interest. Judge Komitee admittedly has multi-million dollar financial stake, via Viking Global (where he was General Counsel), in businesses owned by the victims, and repeatedly made objections to the introduction of potentially exculpatory evidence, on behalf of the prosecution.
