WE DECLARE THIS WEEK TO BE ANDI JACKSON WEEK!! For the THIRD October in a row (all three in the final two weeks of the month), the B1G Defensive Player of The Week goes to our BLOCK AND HITTING QUEEN ANDI JACKSON!!!! 🏆🔥 Our spectacular and talented Andi had a phenomenal week against the 2nd and 3rd best blocking teams in the Big Ten by recording an average of 3.17 Kills/Set, hitting .567 on the week, and limiting the Cali schools to only a .063!!! Way to make your case for NPOY!! ❤️ #GBR @aandijackson

Lots of good VB this week but my favorite storyline is what I call the Big East Carousel of Death 🔥 Marquette, DePaul, and Creighton! The Top 3 teams in their conference, ALL facing each other this week!! This week may be the most important week of each team’s season. Who knows who’ll win!!

I’m just gone say this once: We shall never, and I mean NEVER EVER, disrespect our Husker Queen Ms. Andi Jackson by comparing her with the likes of Sophie Cunningham!! Absolute bonkers!!

LOVB Nebraska will return to Grand Island for two matches at the BigIron Events Center. They played a match at the arena last year in front of a sold-out crowd. Dates, times and opponents for both matches will be announced later. Presale tickets will be available Monday, Nov. 9, with tickets going on sale to the public Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Thoughts on this week’s AVCA Poll: 🏐 Florida now in the Top 4!! 🤩 🏐 Tennessee > Kentucky > Wisconsin is great to see 😌 🏐 BYU with a massive jump! Not quite where i predicted but I also don’t mind this rank 🏐 Purdue ABOVE Oregon now?? 👀 🏐 Wisconsin and Purdue screwed over Minnesota (they’re now BELOW Washington) 🏐 Michigan State is ranked again!! (In time to face Nebraska this weekend!) Overall, wasn’t too off with my Top 10 Prediction! BYU was the main one that caused some differences but it makes sense
