can you imagine this happening at a larger scale? and I mean, they crawl up the walls, end up on the ceiling and get in all the ductwork / crevices. If this happened at production scale that'd be several tonnes of larvae on the floor at once #riskmanagement
Here is yet another trial we did regarding the separation of Black Soldier Fly Larvae from the frass (sidenote: there are way better ways of doing it than this but it was worth the trials at the very least). #sustainable #ukfarming #farming #agritech
Throwback to a trial we did with macerated (aka blended) brewers grains, yeast and biscuit meal. Smelt great but looked awful yet the insects seemed to love it! Thanks to our local brewery @StroudBrewery for supporting the endeavour #sustainable #insects #BSF #insectfarming
Very young Black Soldier Fly Larvae reared on a diet of chicken feed (non-processed, as a control). #BSF #blacksoldierfly #entomology #insects #agri
An inside look into a pilot Black Soldier Fly Farm. #entomology #insects #BSF @MarsPetcareUS #lovebug
If you are currently in self-quarantine, here are some #puppy pictures to pass the time. #labradorretriever #covidー19uk
I will be speaking today in Bristol on insect farming. Just had the first talk from @LettUsGrow. Looking forward to a great day ahead!

Most exciting thing to happen in my little village in 10 years- loud revving followed by a massive bang! Went out onto the road and found this. Looks like they’ve run off and that no one was hurt- luckily! @wiltshirepolice
Great to have insect farming on @bbcpointswest yesterday evening. Always good to have people in the community understand whats going on in #ukfarming even if its something fairly novel! #bbc #insects
Up at the farm today. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better bank holiday weekend. ☀️ bit.ly/2PltnMB
Great to see fellow @Farm491 company founder, Charlie Guy, presenting @LettUsGrow to the Chinese delegation in Nanjing, China this week. Fantastic products and lots of interest! #agtech #gbipchina
In China for the next week with the #GBIPChina trip promoting @betterfeed and Agritech partnerships and collaboration between UK and China.
A view of #edinburghcastle yesterday. Had a smashing time in #edinburgh - until next time! bit.ly/2HZEx9z
Other people I’ve spoken to in the UK didn’t have much snow but for some reason my little village did. Now it’s the start of a new week- please go away! #uksnow #uksnowmap #PolarVortex2019
Finally home after a fantastic December and a great start to the #newyear. I hope all of you have a healthy and happy #2019 and I look forward to being back to work tomorrow. Here is to the next 12 months!

On @BBCFarmingToday tomorrow a 'micro-herd'! Brothers Paul and James Wright are breeding black soldier flies with the aim of using their larvae for #animal #feed #farming #insects
