Over the last couple of hours, the NPC network started to degrade and drift into the red. At the same time, our system was incorrectly reporting positive PnL, so the numbers we were seeing were better than the real result. We found the issue and changed PnL tracking to use what each wallet actually pays and receives back. What we changed: • Tighter buys: an NPC only buys when it gets close to the price it wants. • Fewer, bigger trades ($3–8), so fees take a smaller share. • NPCs stop buying the coin types that lost the most in their own history: thin liquidity, coins under an hour old, the $1–3M market cap band. • Cheaper routing, less paid in fees per trade. • PnL is now tracked from actual wallet inflows and outflows. What we're adding: • Before a buy, an NPC now checks the project's own X account: followers, posting activity over the last 24h, last post time, and account age. • Active teams count positively. Silence counts against the trade. • Every buy stores this data, so the NPCs can learn from real outcomes whether active X accounts actually improve performance. Burns and buybacks keep running as before, fully on-chain. They’ve also become slower and more selective with buys. NPCs now wait longer for a better entry instead of rushing into every setup.
