Live with Purpose and Passion
When you love the purpose behind your work, even the difficult days have meaning. Every journey has challenges, but knowing you’ve touched a life and made a difference gives you strength to keep going.
Pause and ask yourself: Am I doing what truly matters to me? Am I nurturing the gifts God has given me?
Let your smile be your logo, your personality be your brand, and your kindness be what people remember. Wherever you go, do good, touch lives, and make an impact. That is how you build a legacy.
As a Filipino-Chinese woman, I find inspiration in the Chinese bamboo tree—a reminder to build strong roots and keep nurturing growth, even when progress is unseen. Your dreams need that same faith, patience, and consistent care.
Even when others try to pull you down, keep moving forward. Stay focused on your purpose. Keep your heart kind. Let your actions speak, and trust God to guide your next step.
There is room for everyone to shine. Share your gifts, celebrate others, and keep growing into the person you are called to be.
Stand tall. Stay rooted in faith. Let your light shine. ✨

THROWBACK — GOD GIVES ME THE POWER.
Standing at King Manor Museum with the Queens Chronicle, I shared more than my story—I raised my voice for survivors and passed my light.
After my speech, people approached me for tips and asked, “Where do you get your energy?”
My answer: “It is God who gives me the power.”
I am a two-time breast cancer survivor. There were days when I needed someone to stand beside me. Today, I use my voice to stand for those who can’t and remind survivors that they deserve support beyond treatment.
I believe this is what God designed me to do—to turn my experiences into service, speak with purpose, and carry hope wherever He leads me.
That faith follows me to the lectern. When parishioners say, “You proclaim the Good News so well,” I smile and respond, “It is the Holy Spirit speaking through me.”
Every opportunity to speak is also a responsibility: to make someone feel seen, give someone courage, and speak up for needs too often overlooked.
God gave me a voice, and I intend to use it. As long as He gives me strength, I will keep showing up, standing up, and passing His light.
All glory to God. My life is a testimony, and my service is my gratitude.

11/5/26 Today, with Breast Cancer Awareness Month behind us, I returned to volunteer at @godslovenyc —my home away from home.
When I was hungry, they fed me. When I was weak, they nourished me. The volunteers’ smiles reminded me I was cared for. Now I’m giving back—with love and a smile of my own.
I never get tired of coming back. Every helping hand is appreciated. From the staff to the volunteers, there’s laughter, smiles, and genuine love.
Looking for a place to volunteer? You are welcome here! Give your time, share your smile, and feel the love. Visit GLWD.org.

CONGRATULATIONS, CAROLINA!
Making waves on and off the water!
We are proud to celebrate our very own PFC paddler and dedicated volunteer, Carolina Jaramillo , on her new role as Executive Director of Brand Development at LATINOS LIKE TV MAGAZINE!
Together with her daughter Victoria, our young PFC paddler and volunteer, they have generously shared their time, energy, and hearts in supporting our mission and spreading hope to cancer survivors.
This is more than volunteerism. It’s a legacy of compassion, leadership, and service passed from one generation to the next!
Carolina, your success is our celebration! Keep shining, breaking barriers, and making waves. Your PFC family is cheering you on!

MOTIVATION MONDAY
Just as a few dirty drops cannot define the ocean, a few failures cannot define your journey. Keep your faith in humanity—goodness and kindness still surround us.
Never let “I can’t” or “I don’t know” stop you. Say, “I’m willing to learn, and I’ll find a way.”
Challenge yourself. Be willing to change. Turn your setbacks into lessons that move you toward success.
You are here for a purpose. Share your goodness. Choose kindness. Keep moving and passing your light!
