Australia is completing ~14k dwellings a month, at best. Australia is bringing in ~24k net migrants/month, at the low end. Do the math.

The latest stuff-up on fuel is going to blow your mind. Australia currently has an oversupply problem! Labor incentivised ships to hurry up and wait and it’s costing between $30-$60,000 a day, per ship, going on to the tax bill, then the bowser price!

Hughesy, quick one. We've got a small restaurant in Perth. Paid our staff super every quarter for five years, in full, never missed. Turns out the ATO counts it as paid when it hits the employee's fund, not when it leaves your account. Clearing house takes five days. We paid on the due date. So it landed five days late. Five days late = the whole quarter counts as never paid. Then 10% interest a year on the full amount, backdated to 2021, ignoring the fact we paid. Bill came in at $140k. Thats interest on money that's been sitting in our staff's super accounts earning for them the whole time. Best part is there was no way to check. No report exists. You can't even get a login to the clearing house. I asked. They said employers don't get one. Accountant says he's got other clients the same. Feels like half the small venues in the country are sitting on this. Anyway, on a payment plan, still open, still cooking. Just gonna work a whole year and all profit goes to the ATO. Cheers Is this fair ATO?

BREAKING: An unprovoked and savage knife attack by a gang of around 10 African migrants has left an 18 year old woman hospitalised with severe injuries following an incident in Melbourne's north west on Wednesday evening. The African migrants brought a set of kitchen knives to a planned meetup, then chased her down the street, stabbed her six times, stomped her head and dragged her by the hair. One of the attackers filmed the entire four minute ordeal, which includes footage of the unconscious victim being dragged across the street by her hair. They kicked her while she was on all fours, one African jumped on her head, while others plunged knives into her as she tried to cover up, as the Africans screamed “Kill, kill, kill” on the footage. A second woman, 20, was also brutally bashed. Packaging for a six pack of knives was left at the scene, with three blades recovered. Zero arrests as of Thursday evening. Detective Acting Sergeant Ali Samie described the footage as "very distressing" and "one of the most savage attacks" he had ever seen. “One millimetre and we’re talking homicide” he said. Premier Ben Carroll calls it another “shocking” display of Melbourne knife crime and talks Jack’s Law and extra police. Same speech, same suburb belt, same pattern, same suspects. If you walk around with a knife you’ve made a decision. If you import the conditions that produce packs of teens treating a suburban street like a hunting ground, you’ve made one too. Welcome to Anthony Albanese’s “multicultural melting pot” Australia in 2026.

I want to believe this will be good. But @Blizzard_Ent has burnt a metric ton of good will they once had by listening to blue haired freaks who don't actually buy their games. So we'll see.

ngl, a worrying amount of times, women make it incredibly hard to support women.
I never want to hear a single one of you women out there who supports this ever say again in your entire miserable lives that men are the problem.

Every dad, every man should read Patrick Clancy’s 911 call transcript. Dawson was his first son. The first son to a father is an incredible bond that only God can accurately explain. My gut is wrenching and I cannot stop thinking about it. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: My wife tried to commit suicide.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Stay awake. How old is she?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: 31–33.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is she awake?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Yes.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is she breathing?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Yeah. Lindsay, what did you do to your neck? She’s talking.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: When did this happen?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Last half hour.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: How far did she fall?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: 20 feet.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is she responding normally?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: A little bit. Wake up!
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: What part of the body was injured?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Her neck. She’s breathing. Lindsay, look at me. Look at me.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Are there weapons?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: I don’t see any. Where are the kids?
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Do not move her.
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Open your eyes. Lindsay, look at me. Open your eyes. Say my name.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: I’m going to tell you how to stop the bleeding.
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: It’s not really bleeding… open wounds. She’s in the backyard.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Is there something on her neck? Can you put pressure on it?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: No. Lindsay, wake up. They’re coming. Look at me.
𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀. First responders arrive.
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: I need you to stay with her. I have to go check on my kids. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 / 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀.
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Guys? Guys?
Cora? Cora?
Dawson?
Oh no. Oh no!
Wake up!
Then screaming and gasping for an extended stretch.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: What’s going on? Hello?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Basement! Basement! Oh my God! I need help in the basement right now.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿: Hello? Hello?
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸: Dawson! My buddy! My little boy! My buddy!
AHHHHH, SHE KILLED THE KIDS!!! Oh my God!

When you look at GTA 6 from the perspective of a man who legitimately have increasingly fewer and fewer spaces left to just unwind, the pattern is hard to ignore God of War now has a female lead. The Witcher now has a female lead. Fable 4... we all saw Fable 4. Ghost of Yōtei replaced Jin with Atsu. Lucia is being positioned as the driving half of GTA 6 GTA has always been dudes hanging out with their crazy bros committing grand theft. When the most male-coded franchises get remade one after another “for modern audiences,” you can’t really blame men for being pissed their spaces are being occupied—even if the game itself turns out fine It’s suffocating. A lot of modern writing doesn’t just add women. It adds preachy girlboss characters who don’t need a man and spend the story competing to out-man him. Feminine traits get treated like a weakness and are often entirely removed. When every new female lead arrives with that same energy, people aren’t crazy for assuming this one will be more of the same There was a lot I liked in the extended trailer. People are also right that Jason currently reads like a brick wall with the brains of a potato, and Lucia potentially reads like a masculine girlboss lead. I know people like both of them in real life. That doesn’t automatically make them good leading characters Time will tell. You still can’t blame men who get harped at, ridiculed, and emasculated daily for being upset that the same dynamic is now showing up in what feels like virtually every game that used to be their escape Sometimes men just want to be with their boys and do cool shit. Getting mad at them for that is the ridiculous take
You won’t be able to break up Jason and Lucia in GTA 6, no matter how you treat their relationship. Rockstar co-studio lead Rob Nelson: “they will remain partners in crime” and will always work together. Your choices can still affect their story. Nelson says that “whether you’ve nurtured the relationship or not will definitely have a bearing on how their story plays out.” The romance is also optional, so players can choose how much they want to engage with it. Nelson explained that Rockstar wanted to give players the option to experience an emotional relationship while also allowing others to “opt out of it if they’re not into it.” ign.com/articles/gta-6-jason…
