Why are hotels so expensive? A new lawsuit alleges that travel website Expedia is rigging the entire market, exploiting its leverage over 80% of all online bookings to inflate hotel prices in every booking channel by 15-30%. It's an economy-wide price fixing scheme, not unlike what Amazon does to retail. /

#NTCA2025 Health is a focus at the conference & another important initiative from @NTCattlemen Thanks to BreastScreenNT bus & the lovely technician Faith. I took the opportunity to take the test otherwise I’d have to wait for the team to visit my region. #breastcancer

Didn’t really need another sleepless night after New Year’s Eve but again, it was worth it. There will be many amazing photos of Aurora Australis, far better than these, but for my first attempt and being so far north, I am beyond stoked. Time for some Coffee ☕️

I heard some pretty horrible news about a death on a farm. People tried to get through to 000 but could not connect, and the signal kept failing. The shutdown of 3g has been terrible for business, but it also might have contributed to its first death.

But the cows….
Oil and Gas Methane emissions from just 1 oil production area of the globe, at 440 tonnes per hour, equals the methane production of 32 Billion Cows. There are only 1 Billion Cows on earth. And oil doesn't eat grass.

My god. Live Xmas trees for sale in Wbool starting at $60. There's whole roadsides in Moyne dotted with wildling pines (incl little tabletop size) that could be cut & given for a donation to weed control so the environment AND people doing it tough get some Xmas cheer.
