My politics are that I hate Donald Trump, I hate people who like Donald Trump, and I hate people who don't hate Donald Trump as much as I do. The only outcomes I care about are the ones that make life harder for Donald Trump.

Fun show with the boys at @PantherPourri.
Cats talk and loads of takes on The Rolling Stones Top 200 rock songs of the 21st Century.
Had a blast as always.

NEW POURRI:
Armando of @LO_FLAPanthers weighs in on Florida's very-utilized PP & PK, and who is contributing more/less than expected. AND OF COURSE... our reaction to Rolling Stone's Top 200 Rock Songs Since 2000'

Absolutely dog shit policy. “We need to cut taxes on second homes” is the kind of stuff the comically corrupt local official says on a Nickelodeon cartoon. teapaw.org/GuntherEagleman/status…
🚨 HUGE: Ron DeSantis is urging every Florida voter to say YES on Amendment 3.
It would raise the homestead exemption on non-school property taxes from about $51,000 today to $150,000 in 2027, then $250,000 in 2028.
It would also cut the yearly cap on assessment hikes for rentals, second homes, and businesses from 10% to 5%.
It needs 60% to pass. Every single vote counts.
Florida families shouldn't have to RENT their homes from the government.
Vote YES on 3.

I love these videos bc it makes all the most insufferable people who are economically illiterate screech. As if every loser podcaster from Brooklyn is somehow more credible than every person who works in commercial lending, development, equity investment and construction.
These NYC apartments are standing empty, not because the owners don't want to rent them, but because rent stabilization laws prohibit them from charging enough to earn back the costs of necessary repairs.
My latest for @WSJFreeEx

There are a litany of bad Nate Silver takes you can dunk on him over, but for whatever reason chuds always seem to choose him giving Trump an almost 1/3 chance of winning 2016, which was a significantly higher chance than any other mainstream source gave Trump

I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day.
And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

I watched Biden govern as the most progressive, pro-labor president of my lifetime by far while the left flank called him Republican-lite. And I watched the left flank once again ratfuck our nominee in the face of Trump 2.0. After Dobbs, Jan 6, promises of mass deportations, etc.

women when well-socialized guys with friends, lovers, and supportive families (one of the perpetrators has a nepo job from his mom!!) rape a woman: FUCK SAD LONELY GROSS SOCIALLY AWKWARD MEN WITH NO FRIENDS!!
for years now we've been deluged with opinion pieces & full-length books about how young men are so sad/isolated/afraid to approach girls & women/oppressed by feminists & #MeToo/victims of a cruel anti-male culture ad nauseam; yet, as we see here, these entitled young men at Cornell had not the slightest hesitation or the mildest anxiety about committing a group rape of an intoxicated young woman, a classmate of theirs.
please spare us any more of those pathetic opinion & books pieces about sad young men pining away in loneliness & fear of girls & women.
& especially, please spare us blaming girls & women for their being so sad & oppressed.

The Ed Sheeran drama was already an interesting case study in hypocrisy, as Ed gets mercilessly harassed for supporting Ukraine but not Palestine, while Macklemore (or anyone else, really) gets none of it for doing it the other way around.
But the double standard becomes even more glaring when compared to Ovechkin. Sheeran’s entire touring lineup walked out over an attempt at neutrality. Meanwhile, Ovechkin actively and openly aligns himself with not just people, but a regime currently waging a brutal war of aggression in Ukraine, killing civilians daily, and starving occupied communities like Oleshky by denying food supplies. Yet Ovechkin continues to play professional team sports without his teammates walking out, fans turning away, or facing anything close to proportional backlash. It exposes a deeply broken standard for who society chooses to hold accountable.

not criticizing, but always fascinated, by those who get food delivered constantly. in my mind that is a "very last resort" thing, as it somehow costs $60 no matter what and does not taste very good

Leftists genuinely care more about defending their favorite streamer than they do about winning this Senate seat
I do feel like the Dem party leadership crossed into some new level of mendacity with this week’s blatant and deliberate twisting of Hasan Piker’s words. To get mad about something he said is one thing. To fabricate something and then claim to be mad about it is a declaration of war against an internal coalition rival. Because the left won the major Senate primaries this cycle, they have to focus on beating Republicans first, but the party leadership made clear this week that they are not up for sharing power, that it’s going to have to be a fierce and dirty battle

You should only be thinking and talking about Palestine 24/7. Forget your family, your friends, your hobby, your job, your culture. It should be Palestine, Palestine, and more Palestine. Don’t worry about healthcare, public safety, abortion. Palestine ONLY. Palestine FOREVER.
Imagine being Palestinian and you log on twitter and everybody’s mourning their hero who’s biggest accomplishment is giving books to kids in a country that bombs you

I think the fundamental reason we see people having difficulty with Biden retrospectives is that the left-liberal coalition as a whole just does not know how to process the fact that the public HATED full employment. It just does not compute at all.

There’s something surreal about watching a self-described progressive bend over backward for admirers of the Ayatollah—a man whose regime executed thousands of political prisoners, murdered protesters, and jailed journalists for criticizing him. How is that “progressive”?
When @jaketapper presses @AbdulElSayed over his refusal to comment on the death of the supreme leader of the Iranian terror regime because “there are a lot of people in Dearborn who are sad today,” El-Sayed again refuses to comment on the Ayatollah’s death
