Could @MisraNityanand ji shed some light if these Indian "sounding" names have Indian roots at all?
It baffled me when I learned that many Russian female names sound Indian.

There's no particular reason. The names mean completely different things. It's just that they are female sounding phonetically in Slavic and Indian languages.

I believe the Sion bridge is now ready. If that is indeed so, I hope they open it at the earliest without waiting for availability of people to inaugurate it. It has caused a lot of hardship and the earlier it eases, the better it will be for the public.
