The Lads are away again tomorrow and can’t wait to get on the pitch. Hopefully you can make the journey and cheer the team on. #UTG

Yesterday’s Man of the Match - Marcus McKernan Great display by him 👏👏👏 Thoughts of Manager Jamie Housley I thought it was a great team performance from the back to front. We played when we had the opportunity too, moved the ball around well and remained difficult to breakdown when out of possession, limiting the number of attempts Thackley had on our goal. A very pleasing display overall and it has certainly shown the fight we have but we know what we have to work on over the coming weeks too. Special mentions go to George Jenkinson again who never stopped and a fantastic debut for new boy Marcus McKernan who covered every blade of grass along with some fine play and takes a well deserved MOTM, really excited to see these two lads progress through the season! Thank you to the travelling support, it doesn’t go unnoticed! UTG.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Joe Austin for his work over the past 2 seasons. Many of the young talented players in the squad have been brought into the squad by him. Joe also played many times in the team, a shining example to the lads of commitment, most notable for me was a cold Tuesday night in Frickley, Joe’s knowledge and pitch craft led the team to victory. Thank you Joe 🤝⚽️🤩 #STEELMEN

Another former Steelmen returns. Welcome Back Haydn Goddard #Steelmen

Anyone at Saturdays game will have seen but if you weren’t…… Ruddy’s Back 👏👏👏👏

After a good game with Pickering Town FC today the score ends 1-1. Todays - Man of the Match came off the bench and made a big difference George Jenkinson 👏👏 George is sponsored by - Trinity Mechanical Ltd Bartholomew and Sons Funeral Directors Well Done George

FT. Parkgate 1 (Bonnington 68) @PickeringTownFC 1 (Pratley 24). I’d say after the 90 that’s a fair scoreline. Goals actually came against the run of play for both sides. Gate had better of 1st, Pickering 2nd. Safe trip back to all visitors.

⏰ 90+4. Pickering try a mad long ranger. Had wide options.

⏰ 90+2. It’s all visitors pressure. They head wide.

⏰ 90. Outstanding low save from Sam. It simply wins points if turns out to be no more goals. His judgment and timing was 10/10.

⏰ 90. +5 added! 1-1.

⏰ 88. Flip a coin for a winner. It would be fitting to stay a 1-1 draw. But ofcourse I’ll take a home winner.

⏰ 80. Couple of subs made earlier. Day and Ridge off. Flint and Gregory on.

⏰ 83. Both sides fancy it. There’s a yellow for Butchart. Central free kick will go in.
