NEW: iPhone Duo screen-cracking issue is real. Apple hasn’t given stores or customer service representatives guidance but the company is investigating. Several people have sent me images and stories of their new $2000 device breaking within hours. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Wo sind nun alle, die aufgrund eines falschen Telegraph Artikels behaupteten, Elon hätte der Ukraine Starlink abgedreht?
I mean it's not terribly surprising.
Elon was CRYSTAL clear on here in the past that he and SpaceX would never use Starlink as blackmail and after news came out immidiately said who's the one who can make the call on Starshield. This is also believable for simple economic reasons: An initiative by SpaceX would be incredibly damaging to the reputation of the product. It would just be outright dumb.
Then we get the incorrect evasive comments from Rubio. Contacts of CNN within SpaceX also clearly said it was the White House.
Sickening, really.

We suspected this was the reason Ukraine’s access to Starshield was restricted. But to see it from senior officials in this reporting is still utterly unconscionable.
Let’s be absolutely clear about what this means. The Trump Administration deliberately restricted technology Ukraine relies on to intercept Russian drones and ballistic missiles. It made it harder for Ukraine to defend itself and easier for Russia to carry out its deadly attacks against Ukrainian civilians.
They knew exactly what was at stake. They knew that more Russian drones and missiles would get through, allowing Russia to kill even more Ukrainians. And yet they went ahead anyway.
This is a deliberate weaking of Ukraine’s defenses that only Russia will benefit from. It is a betrayal of our ally that this Administration cannot wash its hands of.
The American people deserve to know who made this decision, why they made it, and how they can possibly justify putting more innocent Ukrainian lives in the crosshairs of Putin’s war machine.

Elon Musk in new interview with Walter Isaacson on the wealth he's created:
"A fundamental misunderstanding of economics arises because of conflating resource allocation and consumption; I've created. My so-called wealth is simply a percentage ownership in SpaceX and Tesla. And this is going to be taxed quite heavily, and there's not some magical way to avoid taxes. If there were I would know about it. At the end of the day, this will get whittled down, and a few generations from now, if money still matters, which I don't think it will, my descendants would have a tiny fraction of what I have."
