MiCA’s pushed stablecoin issuers to operate outside of the EU. Now, some at the ECB are calling for a ban over stability risks
Fair, but MiCA’s the real issue here
Killing any type of innovation from the inside while other countries benefit. Nice one

That was quick 👀
the $sUSDe reserve in the Aave Lido instance filled in a block.

This is specially egregious knowing that total $EUR stablecoin mcap is $300M and has remained mostly flat lately
$TEURO just mints $70M to become the second biggest EUR stablecoin out of nowhere 🤔
Last week #TrueUSD released a new stablecoin $TEURO that would appear to be backed by Euros. They seem to have started off with a mint of €70 million to 0x465D0F0012C5Cf0098F851EE30FB511F61361e26.

🤔 AAVE gov proposal to increase the borrowing rate on $GHO to 3% after being increased to 2.5% just a few weeks ago
Borrowing rate should be set algorithmically to avoid going through governance every month
GHO definitely needs to find a PMF & incentivise holding/LP'ing..

The MakerDAO rETH off boarding brings me back to this thread I wrote the other day.
By entrenching stETH, MakerDAO is actually exacerbating the eventual pressure its peg will face as leverage builds up and ETH IV surges in a bull market.
Nature will restore balance.

Imo the minority LSTs will not be as systematically integrated into DeFi due to their liquidity limitations and, as a result, won’t accumulate as much leverage
Probably nothing 👀
New bridging of CRV, crvUSD and boosts is almost here!
Architecture allows to plug and even aggregate multiple bridges (starting with @LayerZero_Labs though).
Code is here: github.com/curvefi/curve-xda…

And a lot of people in the countries that use currencies listed below don't have easy access to King Dollar, hence the need for stablecoins and RWAs.
$475m $USDT frozen - will probably not see any redemption for at least a few years while generating some juicy yield 😅

That's one of the bigger freezings. Creeping up to 1,000 banned $USDT addresses 👀
