"Besides the ethical, financial, social and political issues it raises, it conflicts with religious freedom. For Baptists, this is reason enough to resist efforts to fund private education with public funds." #OklaEd sbee.link/bt4dmg97a3

Whenever Walters is criticized, his supporters never respond by touting his accomplishments or how he's improved education. They childishly reply with insults such as "pedo," "woke" and "groomer." Ironic, but on-brand in a discussion about Oklahoma's failed education leader.

NEW: Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters once attended a fundraiser thrown by a podcaster deemed unfit to work in Owasso Public Schools because of public statements he made encouraging his daughters to “kick the sh*t” out of transgender peers trying to use the restroom. 🧵
Supt. Walters is an agent of the State and should not force his religious beliefs on #OklaEd kids.
This opens the door for State sponsored rituals from other religions.
