My latest podcast venture securitythisweek.com/ #Security This Week (Enterprise security through the lens of current events) with @patrickhynds, @dlaflotte , and yours truly asking dumb questions.
@getpHin I loved my pHin so much, until it stopped being accurate and tried to get me to lower my PH to dangerous levels and then stopped communicating even though the unit claims to be working fine and even updates and my message to support last week went completely ignored.
@getpHin Redemption! Second attempt with support was fast and very efficient. My first must have not gotten through and so while my pHin did go nuts, once support engaged it appears I can get back to enjoying the pHin life!
I know it feels rude, but when you are talking to someone on the phone and they say they have to go (to take a call or answer a door or deal with something) the best thing you can do is let them go instantly with a "OK, call me back when you are free, bye" or something shorter.
A year and a half ago @JoelSemeniuk introduced me to intermittent fasting and I am so grateful. It has become my way of life and I will never go back to the old ways.
When I was in the army I was outside at dawn just about everyday, on the rare occasions I am outside at dawn these days I realize how wonderful it is if you can just notice.
You have not failed if you are still trying, failure requires surrender even if there is a deadline.
Now my PluralSight course on passwords that was at odds with the old guidance is in alignment! #NIST #password #PluralSight
Thank God, NIST just retracted and updated their password guidance!bit.ly/2bpkyBc. #NIST #password 1/2

#Build2016 Second day keynote does not disappoint! MS is burning the ships and embracing open source in ways we never would have imagined!

As an RD, we were fortunate enough to have a private audience with Satya. I'm liking the third CEO of Microsoft.
Convert a retail Xbox one into a Dev kit so now instead of paying thousands you can just buy an off the shelf unit! #Build2016
At #build2016 in San Fran and so far the big vision is being laid out, details to come soon I hope...
