Starting to be glad I don’t have any money.
Do people think their bank accounts are safe?

On a plane today I had to wait a long time outside 2 engaged toilets. Then both doors opened simultaneously and out stepped 2 identical twins. Weird.

I wonder how much objections to AI writing in this sort of context are because un-edited AI writing is just objectively bad and that labs will start optimising on writing for some models and the issue will die away.
Just read a recommendation letter from the main advisor of a very promising job market candidate that was 100 percent AI generated according to Pangram. Don’t do this!!

“Threads — and Bluesky — have effectively quarantined some of the worst people on the internet.”
Last year I thought Threads was an existential risk to X. When Meta puts its full weight behind something -- by injecting the app into Instagram, it’s DEFCON 5: You have to squeeze out every last drop of growth from all available surfaces to save the app. However, I started to realize that the opposite was happening: It was strengthening X. If you look at any announcement by Zuck, you will see the most rude & toxic comments on the internet. But when he makes those same announcements on X, people are thrilled about how he’s pushing humanity forward. X is a place where people are excited about the future, so it’s no surprise he and his top lieutenants are using it more than their own app. Threads — and Bluesky — have effectively quarantined some of the worst people on the internet. And so I had an epiphany: those apps are X’s anti-abuse systems.

West Ham still look clueless on how to break down the opposition against 9 man Lincoln. We must sack Nuno if we are to have any chance of getting promoted.

Gosh, how must it feel to the millions of decent Americans to have your country supporting Putin in his genocidal ware of aggression against Ukraine?

Saying there was Russian interference does not imply it changed the outcome. Even if it had changed the outcome it would be impossible to demonstrate. That doesn't mean foreign interference in elections is not a problem.
Now @andyburnham says he did not imply Russia influenced outcome of Brexit referendum. He never implied it he said he had evidence. Where is it? There's none which is why he's been i disowned by his own foreign minister

What is needed here is a conjoint experiment showing preferences when terms like FoM, Eurozone, trade policy etc are included.
When I say the politics will become increasingly obvious... I mean look at this. If you want to unite the left/centre and split the Tories, without a big spending committment there's no better option.

Another shameful day for America and its once proud people.
Additional Zelensky statement on the U.S.-Russia diesel agreement: “Right now, our Ukrainian team, our negotiating team, is in Florida for a 2-day visit, holding talks with the U.S. team about ending this terrible war, at minimum regarding a ceasefire. The start of a ceasefire could be an energy ceasefire, an energy-related cessation of hostilities. This is very important for our people, for our families. And at this very moment, while our team is meeting with the U.S. team in Florida, the U.S. President is having a conversation with the Kremlin leader, the leader responsible for this war and this aggression, and they reach an agreement under which USA gives Russia the opportunity to export diesel fuel. This is additional money for this war. This is additional money for the suffering caused to us, without question. This only fuels Putin and gives him the power to keep fighting even more. And at this very moment, when we are talking about peace, America is giving Russia the opportunity to export diesel fuel. That’s, I don’t know, millions, billions (of dollars). In any case, all of this goes toward the war against our people, against Ukraine, against all of us. I believe they are simply using our team as a cover. And this is clearly unfair. This is clearly not acting in good faith as a partner. And this, in my view, is a weak decision. Unfortunately, unfortunately, it is a weak decision from strong partners”

The Jude Bellingham to Sir John Curtice’s Harry Kane.
Sky's election analyst Rob Ford explains to @MhariAurora how voters have shifted from moving one way to another in recent years, where voters are now shifting not to a main opposition, but to left and right wings in the Greens and Reform UK. It comes after the Greens finished second to Labour in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election by 3,364 votes. 🔗 trib.al/8XxErie

that'll be because it's the model OpenAI suggests you switch to when you run out of Fable tokens absurdly quickly.
Also, 6.1 Sol was our fastest-growing model ever, and was a bit slow under load. Should be much better now!
