At least 1.85 tons of CO2 emissions saved over the last 8 months after driving 10000 km in our wind-powered fully electric car.
Coming back from South Africa the first thing that struck me in the Netherlands is the number of electric cars on the road. Perhaps an 'Amsterdam' bias but I would think 25-30% is now electric. I wonder if it can be noticed already in the air quality data?

Apparently I can have 'my' telescope and eat it!!
With immense sadness we have to report that the BlackGEM telescopes have collapsed, only two days after the inauguration by @RHDijkgraaf, @AstronomieNL, @RUastro, @IvS_KULeuven
...but they were tasty!!

A Dutch tradition we continue in Cape Town: oliebollen. Happy New Year to you all!
Amazing to see that our 100W portable solar panel is actually generating close to 90W continuously, even in sub-optimal placing. We run our laptops and phones on the attached UPS and backup power storage
Congratulations to the @ESA_Euclid team. Absolutely stunning !
