I understand PJ Fleck has had his ups and downs. I understand the Gophers laid an egg last week against Purdue. But if, like me, you’re 48 or younger, they’ve never beaten their three biggest rivals all at the same time in your lifetime until today. Choose joy.

It’s pretty cool that someone the caliber of Michael Grady is willing to continue to call games on the Wolves local broadcast despite his shoulder getting tapped for big time national gigs. The work ethic is insane, and I appreciate every game Grady chooses to come back to where his play by play career took off. It may not last forever, but the gesture to continue to make it work here is incredible. @JimPeteHoops and @Grady might be the best play by play and analyst duo in basketball. That includes the fancy national broadcasts.

Both can be true: Luka is an exceptionally talented NBA player. Likely top 5 player. He's also incredibly whiny and cries the entire game and most people think it's weak.

The Miami Heat bench got Anthony Edwards going. And LaMelo Ball made sure he stayed hot. A rollicking debut for a Timberwolves backcourt that figured to be loud all season long. Free read nytimes.com/athletic/7712229…

Whoever decided that interviewing NBA players DURING the flow of the game was a good idea should probably be fired, arrested, and never allowed to enjoy dessert ever again.
