Maybe it's time to rethink how we talk about science.
For the first time, Nature family journals set their open access price, and it is around £9000. No, that's not a typo. Science is increasingly just a capitalist endeavour, where irrespective of your ideas, only those who get all the money can succeed.

My first weekend call ever got off to an eventful start - treating an intubated patient. Remembered this great study by @DrAlexLouie et al and felt thankful to have data for guidance!
Also thankful to have great residents and therapists to give me great advice. @DrCorreaRO
Is it benign or malignant? Is it recurrence or post-treatment change? Will it respond well to immunotherapy? See how #MachineLearning is being applied to answer these questions in this great summary by @JarydChristie

The re-opening of indoor bars have been associated with COVID-19 clusters around the world. It's not appropriate to have indoor bars open when my cancer patients still have to leave their spouse in the parking lot and face treatment alone @fordnation
As some areas of the province move towards Stage 3 of reopening today, @OntariosDoctors are calling on government to rethink opening indoor bars. #ONhealth #COVID19

Fun throwback to Toronto this morning @UofTDRO talking about applying to fellowships and jobs :) So nice to see everyone again!
We are thrilled to welcome back Dr Cecchini MD PhD to @LHSCCanada and @SchulichMedDent. @Path_Matt is an absolutely Clinical and Research superstar fresh of a top end fellowship at the @MayoClinicPath in lung cancer and molecular pathology. 🔥🔥🔥
Starting a new job today @LHSCCanada. So thankful to have the opportunity to serve the community I grew up in, and grateful for awesome colleagues, mentors and students. I couldn't have asked for a better place to work.

In 2019, @nicholslab1 and @drdavidpalma reported findings in @TheLancetOncol from the world’s first clinical trial comparing robotic surgery to radiation therapy for oropharyngeal cancer. They are now working on a second clinical trial testing two ways of de-escalating treatment.
