some white folks are so used to being treated as superior that they can't understand not being babied in every conversation about race. white folks don't feel like their race inherently makes them a target. that is something idk if i'll ever relate to 🤷

hey every1 i've been dealing with an art thief for the past few days, & i'm trying to advocate for myself in any way i can. they're still refusing to take accountability/acknowledge this anywhere. i don't want to incite hate/encourage bullying, but i refuse to stay quiet abt it

thank you for reading this far, i don't think i have much to add but i will if needed. please take care of yourselves and each other if you can. hate will never solve anything, it only does harm to everyone involved also please stop fucking stealing from small poor artists

only if you are able to, i'm asking for my voice to be amplified. i've had a hard time getting through to them and i don't think they will be very responsive (i'm blocked). i know that this is not smth everyone can prioritize right now, and i don't blame anyone unable to engage

if you come across pilot-boi's picrew, please just know that they tried to make money off of assets directly stolen from a smaller artist & have refused to take accountability for it. i want to be very frank about this all and what my intentions are posting about it here

many people who use their picrew have no idea that they committed art theft with it. picrew.me doesn't have any report forms that work, neither does the website owned by the operating company. if i could've just reported it & not have to be on twitter, i would've

they've claimed they spent 4 months putting the picrew together, so i do not believe they "genuinely forgot" to credit my work in that time. especially not when they had copy and pasted my description, previously having replaced my cashapp with their ko-fi link to get tips.
