I love werewolf films, but unlike most horror genres, I don't think anyone's ever made the perfect one. #TheWolfMan (1941) comes pretty damn close though! #LonChaneyJr is excellent, the make-up is fantastic & the gothic atmosphere is wonderful. A @UniversalPics horror classic 4✨
#BogartLifeComesinFlashes isn't the greatest documentary ever made, but as a huge #Bogart fan I couldn't get enough of it! A fascinating look at his career, four marriages and old #Hollywood. Could've dug a little deeper, but I loved it. Perfect Sunday afternoon viewing!

#CillianMurphy is brilliant in this quiet but powerful drama about #Ireland's #Magdalene laundries. #EmilyWatson is chilling as the #MotherSuperior. A slow burn with so much anger beneath the surface. Even more disturbing knowing it actually happened.

I'm not even a @thebeatles fan, but I've watched #Yesterday a few times now and always really enjoy it! 😂 Love the high concept idea, and #DannyBoyle and #RichardCurtis make it work. Funny, charming and a great soundtrack. A really enjoyable #British comedy!

I'm working my way through the #RoaldDahl books I missed growing up, as well as revisiting old favourites. I don't remember reading #BillyandtheMinpins, but I loved it! Short, sharp & full of that cheeky darkness Dahl was so good at #QuentinBlakes illustrations are brilliant too!
7 films in and #Scream is still going! 😂 #NeveCampbell is back & #KevinWilliamson takes over as director. Some good kills, plenty of self-aware humour and nods to the originals. The formula's getting tired though, with plot holes and a dodgy ending. Still enjoyed it! 🔪

I'm always going to have to push myself to watch films like #Queer! 😂 A few scenes had me looking away but #DanielCraig is really good & it looks fantastic. Sadly its a bit too self indulgent & the ending didn't do much for me. Decent but not as good as the critics made out. 3✨
How have I not seen @theniceguys before!?!? I love it! 😂
@RyanGosling and @russellcrowe are funny as fuck together! Brilliant chemistry, sharp dialogue and a fantastic 70s setting. #ShaneBlack doing what he does best. I wish #Hollywood still made more films like this!

A family snowed in at a remote lodge. Nice and cosy! 😂 #TheLodge has a fantastic atmosphere, creepy imagery and some really nasty twists. Shame it loses its way towards the end. The tension disappears and the finale feels rushed, muddled and frustrating. 😭

Back on the horror films and one of my favourites! 🧛♂️ #Coppola's #Dracula is gorgeous! Eerie, romantic, ridiculously theatrical and full of incredible old school filmmaking tricks. #GaryOldman is brilliant, but I'd forgotten just how bad #KeanuReeves is! 😂

Stuff like this hurts my soul 😢 Another painfully familiar, feel good #British comedy. Decent cast, a few laughs and some charm, but bloody hell, haven't we seen this 100 times before? Perfectly fine I suppose but I really never need to see another film like this again.

Yes, I'm watching #Christmas films in #October. 😂
#ChristmasEveinMillersPoint was a right little surprise! A quirky, slightly surreal family drama with a real #90s indie vibe. Lovely cinematography, loads of characters far more interesting than I expected. Enjoyed this!

I'm kind of surprised how to what extent #RunLolaRun has been forgotten.
It's begging to be rediscovered.
Not a bad version of #Hamlet, but after seeing so many adaptations, and the incredible Hamnet recently, this felt a bit unnecessary and gimmicky. @rizwanahmed and @MorfydClark are really good, but beyond the modern setting, there's not much new here. A bit underwhelming.

Six episodes into @arcaneshow season 2 and it’s still fucking gorgeous. The animation, music and sheer spectacle are incredible. It’s about as subtle as a punch in the face, but that’s part of its charm. Act II is brilliant and I’ve no idea where this is going.

You’re not allowed to believe that in public. (#YNATBTIP)
This is now a category in the West. I mean, sure, you can believe anything you want. But if people with something to lose are to accept you, there are ideas, ones that MANY privately accept, that you can’t discuss openly.
