We order a new Ford Maverick. Dealer calls and said they got financing approved but it’s a high rate so they recommend we put more down and in the future get approved for the Ford credit line to make things easier. I ask the rate. 12.99% I say let’s pause on the deal and let me make a few calls. 5 mins later the phone rings. They magically got it down to 8.49%. Don’t let these guys try to screw you over.

I bought some more $ENZN last week as well. I’m just surprised that more people aren’t noticing the value here. It will be an instant 300-400% gain once the deal is finalized. Will probably be this month imo.

Allow me to break character for a second and not talk about business ideas. I actually had to step out of church to get this thought out of my head. I go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We used to be called Mormons. And this morning our dear prophet died. This same morning, one of our churches came under attack. There was a gunman situation and a church of ours is still on fire. One viral tweet said “Christianity is under attack.” And I don't know if I agree with that statement, and that's not what this post is about. But the top comment on that post was, “Mormons aren't Christian.” And I just wanted to dispel that myth real quick. I understand why many evangelicals think this. It's because we have differing views of the Godhead. We believe that the Godhead is three distinct personages, and they believe it's one person. But just imagine living your life as a Christian, serving others as Christ would, getting to the pearly gates and hearing, “Oh, sorry, you didn't quite understand those four verses in the New Testament quite right. So, you're not allowed in here.” I just don't believe it works that way. So, fellow Christians all around the world, know that we're all in this together. We're on the same side of the table. We're on the same team. And we need each other. So, if a member of my faith has ever positively impacted you in any way, and then you hear someone say that we're not Christians, please, stand up for us, just like I'll stand up for you. Abraham Lincoln once said, “I do not like that man. I must get to know him better.” So, let's get to know each other a little better, and you'll soon see that we are all Christians. And not only because of what we say, but because of what we do and what we believe.

We live in a C world. Half the people can’t even show up on time or keep promises. My guess is that operating at a B- level puts you at the top 10% of earners and operating at a B+ puts you in the top 1%.

If you want to find average people who will give you below average results, give them a base salary. If you want to find people who are absolute dawgs, the risk takers who will find a way to learn quickly and get double, triple or quadruple sales, then don’t give them a base.
Should sales people have base salaries? Somehow this is a debate amongst employers...

Why are people hating on this guy for this post? His employee WANTED TO WORK on a holiday. Even to the point of overcoming obstacles where others would have gone home. Some people actually enjoy the hustle and getting paid. We have people that LOVE overtime because it’s more $.
I had a sales rep with an upset tummy this morning (4th of a July). He’s a 23 year old full grown adult but he crapped his pants when he got out to his area to start knocking doors. His girlfriend drove an hour out to him, brought him a change of clothes, and he went out and sold 4 accounts and made $685 in commissions. 5 weeks ago, he was working in a restaurant making $600 a week. Today, he overcame a huge obstacle and dominated. These are the young men we are producing with our program. What a story.

"I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Baltimore, MD and speak Spanish because of it." You might be surprised to learn how many Mormons are driven, humble, and super successful AND cite to their missionary work as a major relevant influence.
I’ve gained about 2,000 followers since I introduced myself and lost my anonymity, so I figured it’s time to reintroduce myself. My name is Casey McDaniel, I’m 25 years old, and I own King Pest Solutions with my business partner in Grand Junction, Colorado. We are on track to do $750k revenue this year and acquire another company doing $500k putting the total around $1.25 million for the year and allowing us to service over half of the state! I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was just a little guy. Making bracelets and knick knacks to sell at school and always looking to buy something for cheap and sell it for a profit. My parents have owned several companies (not pest control) during their years and are almost ready for an early retirement. I plan to follow in their footsteps. I ran collegiate track at Colorado Mesa University where I got my degree in finance. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Baltimore, MD and speak Spanish because of it. Happily married to my smoke show wife. I started my pest control career selling pest control door to door in Raleigh, NC and started my own company in March of 2022. I plan to keep sharing our journey as we grow. Follow @pestctrlguy to learn how to start and grow your own pest control company and a good bit about door to door sales. If we haven’t chatted already, my dms are always open and I’d love to chat anytime and try to respond to all of my comments.

This is what I do all day every day. Watch and learn boys: If I’m knocking doors: “for sure man I just got off the phone with your wife and she wanted me to swing by.” This catches them off guard and they say “really?” Then I respond “no! Of course not, but is your wife going to be mad that you’re getting the bugs taken care of?” Disarms them and then they sign up. Most people can 100% make a decision without their spouse. This is almost always just a smokescreen objection. If it’s over the phone: “absolutely! I don’t want to start a divorce over pest control hahaha (we both laugh). You called in so obviously you guys are considering a service right? Do you think your spouse would be more concerned with the price or the service I just explained?” After they respond I will either build more value or change what I need to to find the service to price value they are looking for and close them. Follow me for more tips on how to get through objections and close sales.

I recently talked to a 25-year-old entrepreneur… who turned a $10,000 dollars investment. Into a pest control business doing $1.2M Dollars/year. (all in under 3 years) Here’s how he did it: In the summers of 2020 & 2021. Wanting to make extra money. (like any other university student) Casey took up door-to-door sales, selling pest control. With uncapped commissions. After learning the business, fast forward. In March 2022, he and his cousin opened a bank account. (with $5,000 each) With an initial investment of $10,000. They bought: • The equipment • Chemicals • and flyers to get the business started. A few days later, they hired a friend as their first technician. With him & his cousin knocking over 100+ doors/day each. The friend had one job: fulfill the orders that were coming in. Doing everything from: • Door knocking • Spraying jobs • Answering emails/phone calls • and everything else. They were living the life of small business! Reinvesting all the profits into the business… they bought their first Nissan NV200 van. Not taking a dime for themselves until June. They finally started paying themselves $3,000/month. Saving every dollar they could: • Building their own website • Doing their own accounting • Handling inventory and operations • and a thousand other things. At the end of the first 9 months in 2022. They did $178,000 dollars in revenue, with 54% net margins. Taking home $45,000 plus $18k in salaries each. With 90% or more of their sales coming from door to door each year. They doubled down. Their door knocking strategy includes: • 6-10 door knockers this year. • Offering discounts for neighbors With the pitch: “Hey we’re taking care of a couple of your neighbors. Usually, our services are $199, but because we’re in the area it drops to $99 just for today” Closing every 1 in 10 doors they knock. They’re on track to do over $1.2M dollars in revenue this year. With 40-45% margins. (After their first successful acquisition) As of today, they have $600,000 in recurring revenue… with their sales team adding ~$4k in new sales every single day. They plan to acquire several small pest companies in the Denver area… with the exciting cash flow of the business. All of this, with just a simple $10,000 investment. So what are you waiting for? You don’t need $1M Dollars to start a business. Find a need. Solve it. And charge for it. If you liked this story and want to read more of them in the future. Be sure to follow me (@creatingjas). And to learn how to start your own pest control business follow (@pestctrlguy) for more tips.
