Our necks hurt just LOOKING at this.
Head-wrenching is used in rodeo events like steer wrestling, where cows are physically forced to the ground for sport. Nothing worth watching requires doing this to a cow. Don’t pay for cows to be hurt like this. Skip the rodeo.
We teamed up with 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 actor and comedian @brettgelman for a hilariously disturbing SeaWorld employee training video exposing the horrors behind the park's “family-friendly” facade.
The scariest part is that what happens to the animals is REAL. Don't buy a ticket! peta.vg/496b
SeaWorld loves dolphins to DEATH 🐬💀
𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 star @brettgelman is roasting the park for imprisoning intelligent, sensitive animals for entertainment while hiding behind the guise of conservation. More than 40 orcas & 500 other dolphins & whales have died in its tanks.
Urge SeaWorld to send these animals to seaside sanctuaries and END its dolphin breeding program👇 peta.vg/496b
This Oscar-winning actor and fashion icon has always known how to make a statement, on AND off the screen 🐈
@PenelopeCruzOfi joined PETA to prove that compassion NEVER goes out of style. Her statement to the fashion world? Leave fur where it belongs, on animals ❤️
His latest role may be making headlines, but one message really deserves the spotlight 👀🐬
Miguel Bernardeau teamed up with @PETA_Latino to expose what life is like for dolphins trapped in SeaWorld’s tiny tanks, a far cry from the ocean where they belong 💔
📣 Horses have collapsed & died on NYC streets & a teenager has been killed in carriage-related incidents, yet you’ve withdrawn your support for ending this industry. Their suffering shouldn’t be up for debate. NYC must follow through on the ban for the safety of humans & horses.
I have always believed that our carriage horses deserve to be treated with the utmost care, respect, and consideration. Their well-being must remain a priority, and I support efforts to ensure they receive the proper care and living conditions they deserve. However, I can no longer support a carriage horse ban that fails to give the same level of consideration to the hardworking carriage drivers whose livelihoods are at stake.
A report exploring alternative employment opportunities is simply not enough to justify implementing a ban in 2028. These drivers deserve a meaningful plan, real solutions, and a clear path forward before their ability to earn a living is taken away. We can advocate for the welfare of these horses while also treating the workers and their families fairly. Until those concerns are adequately addressed, I cannot support moving forward with this ban and I have removed my name as a sponsor of the legislation.
We're here for the dogs who never got the protection they deserved and those whose lives are still at risk 💔 Together with @SWOTNonprofit, we're calling on Mayor @KarenBassLA to let @LAPDHQ enforce animal protection laws equally, because a dog's ZIP code should NEVER determine whether they're protected. – at Los Angeles, CA
Apparently, requiring experimenters to justify using animals was asking too much. The head of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, part of @NIH, has backtracked from that requirement.
@NIHDirector_Jay, @SecKennedy, @HHSGov: NIH needs to stop funding this bad science.
Urge your members of Congress to introduce legislation enacting Research Modernization NOW, which would mandate that @NIH fulfill its promises to move away from experiments on animals and toward modern, non-animal research methods 👇 peta.vg/495s
Some Halloween decorations are scarier than you think! See which ones you should avoid to keep animals safe this season 👀 peta.vg/495q
THIS is what @UMassChan calls “research” 💔
Leaked records expose experimenters inducing heart attacks in baby pigs, neglecting their suffering, and leaving them to die alone in their cages. Some were just TWO MONTHS OLD.
Help us put an end to this horror 👉 peta.vg/495g

PETA is calling for a federal investigation into UMass Chan Medical School over the treatment of pigs used in cardiac experiments.
Following recent raids on Skid Row's drug trade, we rallied outside LAPD headquarters asking them to go back for the dogs who are being abused, neglected and illegally bred. Together with @SWOTNonprofit, we're demanding Mayor @KarenBassLA protect animals across ALL of Los Angeles. – at Los Angeles, CA
