The problem with AI is that it’s causing this massive brain drain where our brightest kids are working on curing cancer and creating abundant energy instead of building derivatives exchanges

Walter Isaacson asks Peter Thiel what humans can uniquely do in the AI era. Thiel: "We're very relational… these relational dimensions will become more important." When knowledge is worth $0, the only career skills that matter: - networking / social calibration - persuasion (sales) - curiosity (harnessing AI) - taste (curation) - storytelling - grit - golfing with clients (or equivalent) We'll get so sick of a fake world that we'll go back to doing business like it's the 1800s. A handshake at the local saloon.

FT comments never miss. I don’t think I’ve read such a rational analysis of the situation we’re in for a long time.
I've been in France since 2002 and have never seen the streets so violent nor the politics so extreme. From the sacking of the supermarket on my street to the prospect of Présidente Le Pen, here's me @FT including thoughts from 2 French Nobel laureates as.ft.com/r/addcad57-0f9d-4e…

Without human QE, consumer prices in EE would be around 30% higher. On top of roughly 40% CPI in last 5 years. 30% higher prices as salaries needs to be higher to incentive local blue collars to work / not go abroad. Social benefits (increasingly high in countries like Poland) would also be cut to incentive people to work. It’s easier to win elections by allowing human QE and pay / increase social benefits for low income voters. Most voters will say they don’t want more migrants (even 60% of Polish far left voters say they do not want Indian migrants). But the reality is many prefer migration to higher prices or having to work more hours.

Measuring the Swarm Economy Existing AI benchmarks fail to measure the growing capabilities of multi-agent systems. New metrics are needed as these systems begin to reshape society. Read the new article by Gavin Morrison (link below):

Had the privilege to get to speak with @dmitricherniak at the Tel Aviv Museam of Art at his exhibit “Ringers in Motion” Long time ago I was introduced to Dmitri by @sofiagarcia_io where I bought one of my first peices of art Our relationship was little “turbulent” at the start and than @Vince_Van_Dough made us sit down and break bread Since, Dmitri has become a dear friend For me collecting art is wonderful but fostering relationships means everything Building with those you trust and respect Seeing an artist you care about exhibit in an institution that also means a Great deal to me personally was a very meaningful experience More and more people are coming to reconcile the great creators we are lucky enough to talk to and hang out in irl In time the recognition will be more widespread and many will finally see what we all do Congrats Dmitri 🫂

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Museums have been buying NFTs at an incredible pace during the downturn, unusual for institutions that typically move very slowly. Chromie Squiggles are now held by 12 museums worldwide. 🌎
BTC went exactly though the same stages. It was much more difficult buying BTC at its early stages then now when it was called "magic internet money" NFTs now are similar to buying BTC in 2010 when ppl where trading it on forums like Bitcointalk. Xcopy Snowfro Jack Butcher Memes 6529 In hindsight it will be obvious, just like it is now with Bitcoin.

We're excited to announce the completion of our Artist Box! 🎉 This year, the DAO set out to solve two of the biggest hurdles we identified for Squiggles. The first was improving how the art is experienced, interacted with, and displayed, which we addressed through the Display Station. The second was solving the challenge of storing and collecting onchain art. After hundreds of calls and conversations with museums, traditional art collectors, and other industry participants, one issue came up repeatedly: the complexity of securely storing onchain art. The multiple steps involved, the responsibility of self-custody, and the technical barriers created significant friction for potential collectors. In many cases, that friction was enough to discourage someone who was interested in Squiggles from ultimately collecting one. After extensive design work and numerous iterations across concepts, materials, and functionality, we have now finalized our solution to this problem. What’s inside the Artist Box: - A handcrafted wooden case with a metal Squiggle engraved on the lid - Acquisition and gift documents, along with a signed letter from the artist, collection information, and a Polaroid signed by Snowfro - A high-quality print of the collected Squiggle(s) - A USB drive with the Squiggle in multiple display-ready formats (GIF, MP4, 4K, 8K, transparent background, 3D files, etc.) - A Keystone tablet for securely storing the seed phrase - Our custom tamper-proof lockbox How it works: - When a museum expresses interest, @ArtOnBlockchain and SquiggleDAO host a call with their representatives. During this call, we provide a secure link that generates a wallet and seed phrase directly for the museum, ensuring that neither Snowfro nor the DAO has any access to avoid liability. - The seed phrase is saved onto the Keystone tablet provided, which is then sealed inside the DAO custom made tamper-proof lockbox. Once sealed, the tablet cannot be accessed without the lockbox being physically destroyed. The museum then places the lockbox in its secure vault, alongside its other high-value artworks. - After a test transaction is verified, the Squiggle is sent to the museum’s newly created wallet. At that point, the institution has the infrastructure it needs to collect, preserve, and display on-chain generative art, opening the doors to other artists. - By establishing this infrastructure, we unlock new opportunities for other artists, DAOs, and collectors alike, enabling museums to securely collect and preserve their work.

Happy to share the news that Meridian #686 and #870 have been acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum, entering its permanent collection. A framed print of Meridian #870 will be included in the V&A’s upcoming show, Degrees of Disruption, highlighting Vera Molnár and gen art.

Really incredible to watch the activity on Robinhood chain Tried Fomo this weekend and…wow. After so many attempts at SocialFi, these guys cracked it, and the timing with Robinhood chain launching couldn’t be better Young gens don’t distinguish between stocks, tokens and NFTs. What matters is to be able to do it on one app, with their friends, and real fast Hyper-social and money in one place. It’s just how markets have evolved and there’s no stoping that train…what crypto offers is unique from that standpoint: always on Couple of other catalysts: - Hyperliquid w HIP-3 running price discovery 24/7/365 on commodities, stocks and pre-IPO markets in a very volatile, momentum driven year with the alrgest IPOs in history - almost a decade of building and the plumbing finally in place across stablecoins, vaults, on/off ramps, prediction markets, perps, high-throughput chains to absorb the volume Can’t hate this moment. It’s not only Robinhood chain that benefits, but they look like the winner of this cycle Prime time to be in the trenches onchain
