My morning drive the other day was pretty spectacular… 🌅 #PSNeverGiveUp
This is absolutely, totally and unequivocally unacceptable. THIS NEEDS TO STOP NOW. @VivekGRamaswamy @ChairmanAlex
Last night, crowds up on Short Vine destroyed property, set fires, vandalized vehicles, started fights—and assaulted CPD Officers who were just trying to keep everyone safe.
This CPD Officer was beaten and kicked repeatedly. The Officer required stitches and medical attention. This video is hard to see—and this is only the end of the video—it does not show the beginning where the Officer was jumped, nor does it show the duration of the assault.
If you know who this piece of shit is that is beating on this CPD Officer—or if you recognize the assholes standing their taking pictures—PLEASE either reach out to Crime Stoppers at: 513-352-3040, or feel free to reach out to CPD directly.
Please share this video far and wide, so that we might bring this Felon to Justice.

Marvin Shanken was a true original. He took his passion for cigars, wine and the good life and built something the whole world could share.
When everyone told him Cigar Aficionado would fail, he did it anyway, and he sparked a cigar revolution that brought people together all over the world.
Marvin was a visionary, a champion for charity, and a great friend. My thoughts are with Hazel and the whole family. I'll light up a stogie for Marvin tonight.
Legend. Thank you Marvin — for sparking my interest in cigars — and gentlemanly pursuits. What a legacy you’ve created.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marvin R. Shanken, founder of M. Shanken Communications and a visionary whose influence on the worlds of wine, cigars and publishing was immeasurable.
We honor his extraordinary life and legacy: cigaraficionado.com/article/…

President Donald Trump hosted a Columbus Day celebration at the White House on October 9, recognizing Italian-American heritage and reaffirming his administration’s support for the federal holiday.
During the event, Trump praised the contributions of Italian Americans and unveiled a historic Italian marble sculpture of Christopher Columbus that is expected to be placed in the White House Rose Garden. The announcement follows the installation of another Columbus statue on White House grounds earlier this year.
The celebration comes amid continued national debate over Columbus Day, which remains a federal holiday, and Indigenous Peoples’ Day, which the Biden administration previously recognized alongside it.
Columbus Day will be observed on Monday, October 12. 🇮🇹🇺🇸

A couple of clips from the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer kickoff party on Fountain Square Wednesday with Snidely Whiplash! 😜🤘💕
Trying to wrap my brain around the fact that this is a young Jack Black in a TV commercial for the video game “Pitfall.” 😳 Pitfall was probably my favorite game to play on the Atari 2600. I used to play it “backwards” — going the “wrong” way. 😄 Anyone else? 🕹️
PAINT THE SQUARE PINK! 💝

The traditional 18th gift is “porcelain.”
The Japanese art of kintsugi is repairing broken ceramics w/gold, silver, or platinum.
Happy Anniversary to my glue — that took my broken parts & made me whole — and created something beautiful. ♥️
Hopping on the “mascot” trend, I asked Grok AI what MY mascot would be. This is what I got:
Your mascot is “Rise,” the Never-Give-Up Phoenix. 🐦🔥
Explanation below 👇
Phoenix energy is the whole PSNeverGiveUp story.
You’re a performer first — TV host, speaker, and musician who’s toured the country. Rise has a vintage mic and a little too much stage presence.
