Opus 5.5 for coding 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Been using it for some client bug fixes and updates -Faster -Cheaper -Better Resisting building a harness for my coding tasks, but that might be my weekend gone

AI has brought back my love of coding. My first dev job was back in 2007. But by 2018, I was fed up with programming. Both in the 9-to-5 and my side businesses. Vibe coding has changed that. Why? Because bringing something to life now takes minutes, not hours, or even days.

Pensions are a scam. One of my pension providers emailed me to say that, after they've had my money for 30 years, they will pay me £352 a month. Champagne and Hookers all round when I retire then.

12 months since I got made redundant. Agency is going from strength to strength. Veing adaptable and listening is the reason it's growing month on month. But most importantly. I'm sat having a coffee at 9:58am in town before heading back to crack on. Lifestyle biz for the W

When I worked as a dev in the corporate world. Refinement sessions were a load of bollocks and a waste of time. Remember once, I switched off the camera, went on mute and spent 90 min building an ottoman bed that we'd had delivered

I hit the garage gym most days. I don't take my phone in, and I don't listen to music, podcasts or audiobooks. Am I weird?

Uncommon opinion: AI frontier labs (claude mainly) are making their newer models shit at coding. So it's slower to take everyone's jobs! Agree?!?!?!?!

Actually getting fucked off with Claude Code. -Think it knows best -Doesn't do what I ask -Replaced things with what it thinks -Takes an age to do something then random commits code. Off to use Kimi

LLMs are chatbots for a reason. Give it as much context to start with. Then paste this: "Ask as many questions one at a time to help you get the best result. Give me a confidence rating at each step. Only stop when you are 95%+ confident you've completed all you need to"

Loveable and Cursor are great. But they fuck up the backend something rotten. 99% of people won't even know

Blatant self promo. Guest on a podcast yesterday. Mac published it the same day. It was good to look back at how far I've come, even just over the last 12 months. Said it before. Will say it again: you only fail if you quit. open.spotify.com/episode/7uG…

The EU is at it again with new AI rules for small businesses. We dealt with cookie banners and GDPR; now more AI paperwork. You use AI to save time; they add forms and admin. Small firms carry the cost while officials write policy. Is this protection, or is it control?
