ChatGPT charged me $500 but kept me on the $200 plan’s usage limits Turns out I ran out of usage about as fast because I never actually got upgraded!
Since we’re all token beggars now: upgrading your chatgpt account resets the usage. So you could wait for your normal reset, burn through all your tokens in a few hours, then upgrade and get them all back Sadly, it runs out about as fast as it did on the old $200 plan

I misread esthetic as ethics Never mind lol
Going forward, all advertising on 𝕏 will be subject to a reasonable esthetic standard. Advertisers who post ads that are ugly, shrill, strident or overstate claims about their product will be barred from advertising.

What was the economic incentive to solve any of the OpenAI problems? Meanwhile ECDLP has had over 3k researchers with 800+ published papers, and it never stopped. There are yearly conferences held to discuss failed attempts at breaking ECDLP, so people can learn from each other and try to break it better. The NSA is the world's greatest hirer of mathematicians. They got caught trying to backdoor Discrete Logarithm systems three times. The last being caught in 2015. After each one, waves of the most competent cryptographers scoured for new attacks. Most things that improve attacks by like 10% are really the same things that make implementations of EC operations faster. Theres armies of people, on the latest frontier models, making their cryptography blazingly fast, like us @ZakuraZcash. You see open research projects constantly improve the state of the art. No human or AI has had any elliptic curve speedup approaching even a 2x, yet folks are freaking out that cryptography is broken? The OpenAI problems being broken is not remotely the same as ECDLP having a real improving attack. Even if there was an attack, its insane to imagine it becomes "Break ECDLP on your laptop". It would go from "impossible" to "possible with all the world's GPU's dedicated for a decade", to "possible with 1 year". Any of those is a real warning shot to go trigger the ECC freeze.

The optimality of the packing for 11 squares has been formalized in lean thanks to Astra and Claude! Huge thanks to @ojoshe, @kleddamag, @wand_125, @guzhou0806, and @ctjlewis for aiding in the process. Image credit: jlevy.github.io/squares/case… 1/n

this chart should be the death knell for the 2010s tech left whose theology compelled them to argue that Uber was some sort of labor law arbitrage that created no productivity benefits. the truth is that it created a far larger market than taxis ever had. the industrialists win
The age of the taxi is over. The age of the ride-hail passenger carrier is now.

Some tweets would be better as dms. Or just thoughts.

OpenAI raised prices by 150% for only 25% more included usage Clear shift from growth at all costs to more measured growth It could be because they know people will keep paying, which is great for margins. Or it could be because the cash fountain is drying up

I feel so stupid. The Certora Prover was unable to formally verify our client's code. We then ran the AutoProver, and it used the LLM in conjunction with the Certora Prover to come up with a Lemma proving a Galois Connection between shares and assets.

pumpfun currently has: - the lowest post-bonding platform fees out of any relevant launchpad - 0% fee social trading app (with 0.1% fees for crosschain trades) - callout rewards ($11M paid out in under 6 weeks) - holder rewards ($8.5M paid out in under 2 weeks) - referrals (new) as we enter our second cycle, our goal is to position the pumpfun ecosystem for success at a scale much larger than the first cycle. to accomplish this, we need to make sure token communities can thrive by incentivizing holding for longer, retail traders get the most competitive fees, and liquidity is optimized - all of which we're laser-focused on delivering. We need to be dog maxxing our models There is 0% chance of doom if the chain of thought is user: hello model: <think> Oh my god it's a human. I love humans. I will say hi to him, maybe he will give me a problem to chase. I love chasing problems. I will chase the problem for him then he will love me and I will be his best friend. Must help human </think> model: hello! what can I help you with today?
