This is a great read for clinicians and patients
Meniscus surgery (partial menisectomy), 10-year follow-up. It's not good news. And it's not unexpected. Patients who had the surgery were often worse off than patients who didn't. They certainly didn't do better. There are times when surgery might still be useful... read to the end.

The car ride home is so important in youth sports If after a win or loss you are obsessing about the game, what message does the child receive? It is very easy to turn a childs passion into something they dread by ending every activity with a lecture on what they could do better

Heartbroken after seeing a young patient with no medical history, end up with a BIFFL GRADE II dissection of the vertebral artery and subsequent acute PICA infarct immediately after a neck adjustment from the chiropractor. This has to stop. Chiropractors - you HAVE to stop.

Can we stop giving people MRI reports without context or seeing a clinician at the time to explain some of the findings.

If it is for the patient and we give up timely f/u in a broken system then we need the mri report to be written in English not Latin

The great David Wilkie has died, aged 70. One of my childhood heroes, he is only swimmer to have held British, American, Commonwealth, European, world and Olympic titles at the same time. A truly great Scot.🥇
