Jia SHIN 🇰🇷 KOR | FS 139.14 / 204.52 On her free skate Shin: I'm really happy that I was able to show a clean program at an international competition for the first time in a really long time. I think I need to work on the mistakes I made this time and focus more on the next Grand Prix. On regrouping after the short program Shin: Right after the short program, I was really disappointed and very upset. While preparing for the free program, I tried not to think about anything else and to focus more on myself. On the season ahead Shin: I think this free skate gave me more confidence, so I shouldn't forget the mindset I had at this competition, and I need to keep moving forward. On working with Shae-Lynn Bourne Shin: This was my first time working on choreography with Shae-Lynn. Saki MIYAKE 🇯🇵 JPN | FS 138.14 / 210.09 On her free skate Miyake: Honestly, the triple Axel has always tended not to go well for me in competition, so I had a feeling I might stumble a bit on such a big stage. I'm really happy I stayed on my feet. Being able to skate the non-jumping elements without mistakes really gave me confidence, and I think it will lead to the next opportunity. On fighting back in the free skate Miyake: My short program doesn't score that high, so I believed I could fight in the free. I believed that all that was left here was to just do it. Partway through, I felt that since I had worked this hard, I wanted to get on the podium. A lot of emotions welled up, but my goal this time was to do the most I can, so even if I don't make the podium, I want to praise myself. On her confidence Miyake: The level was really high this time, and being able to break in this far in such a high-level competition gives me confidence.
