Nintendo temporarily listed Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at $69.99 on the US store last night, $10 higher than usual.
If you're planning on picking up a physical copy of TotK at launch then I'd recommend locking in the price by getting a preorder in before the Nintendo Direct.
UK folks, here are the cheapest preorders for Zelda TotK:
- TheGameCollection £49.95 (plus £5 points back for pre-order) thegamecollection.net/the-le…
- ShopTo £49.85 shopto.net/en/swze07-the-leg…
- Hit (previously Base) £48.85 hit.co.uk/buy/product/the-le…
Predictions for tomorrow's Nintendo Direct:
- Mario game to tie w movie release
- Advance Wars release, Feb
- Nintendo Switch "selects"
- Pikmin 4 gets a release window
- Indie & 3rd party rolls
- New NSO perk to keep subs
- Zelda: TotK + special edition
- New Switch model
It's crazy just how much Nintendo's digital sales have increased since launch.

Physical games still dominate Nintendo's software sales, with 84.5% of total software sales being physical and 15.5% being digital downloads. Although, digital sales are up 1% compared to the same period last year.
I wouldn't be surprised if a new switch model and a "selects" range of games is announced relatively soon. Stock seems to be being cleared in the UK.
Tesco are selling off OLED Nintendo Switch consoles for £152 and standard ones for £115. You can download their app to check stock near you.
Good luck!
Looks familiar to me.
