Fifteen years ago on this night my Brother and Sister in Law wanted me to get a little sleep. Around 10 pm I laid down for one hour. Michael was failing fast and I need to sit beside him. It was the toughest night I ever had in my life. He made it through until morning.

Grief is odd. My mom has been gone for 3 weeks. I think I’m fine - other times I’m not.
I’m cleaning out her condo to get ready to sell. It’s hard to go through her stuff. She was sick for months and did not even recognize me at the end. I still was not ready to let her go. 😢

I agree with you EJ. If we #Veterans were as vocal about a full month honoring us as the LGBTQ community is about Pride month, we'd be called every name in the book except children of God. Yet it is the Vets who have made, and kept, Pride month possible.
